People wonder why Poch can't get results.

That's 4 first team players who definitely want to leave. There could be more.
Probably more, Eriksen, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Aurier, Rose, Wanyama

Remember when Spurs fans said the peanut wages they give won't be a problem as the players love the club?

Who's that now, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Eriksen, and Rose?
tbf that was probably Glaston. Hes probably in hiding somewhere after all the crap he has spouted about the new stadium and the players love for the club/Pochettino.

Beyond Rose, I'm thinking, slowly but surely (hopefully), the market will normalise after a few crazy years. Rose and at least 3 other Spurs stars will leave on a free it seems. Many at other clubs are following same route. Didn't ESPN do a whole feature on the "Summer of Unwanted Stars" ?. Clubs just aren't stumping up the crazy cash like they used to. Sigh of relief...

Yep. Pochettino is handling the situation at Spurs surprisingly well. All these player contract running out and players wanting to leave for higher wages is all down to levy. Most other manager would have Spurs in the relegation zone like how Mourinho and Klopp had Chelsea and Dortmund in that area during tough times. But this time at Spurs is much worse than that.

 Like clockwork.
Yeah, Spurs fans should be incredible grateful that Poch has them 14th right now and not relegation zone, definitely overachieving atm.

Rose seems like a weird guy.I get the point that Spurs players might feel undervalued given their salaries but feel stuck because the transfer demands by Levy are unreasonable. But he comes across quite contradictive in that interview. Did he want to leave last summer or not? And if yes, why is his conclusion now to refuse a transfer next summer? Just out of spite and in the hope to get a bigger contract if he leaves on a free?

So obviously just guess work but you could see that perhaps a deal he was happy to move for is no longer on the table. Also he turns 30 next season so if he is looking for one last pay day he'll get a better salary at age 31 if there is no fee involved versus the salary he might be offered at 30 with some sort of fee required.

Alternatively its a tactic to force Levy to accept a low offer just to get something for him.

Yeah the flip side of having all the money in the world to buy players means its nigh on impossible to move on duds on big wages. We have seen our fair share of it here.

Why wouldn’t you as a player? This will start making traction once some really big stars start doing it. Imagine if Mbappe wound his PSG contract down. He’s worth £200m probably to a buying club if not more. Why should the club take all that? A signing on bonus of £150m plus wages would do much nicer.

Levy is starting to pay the price for not granting the players the desires to leave when they ask. Too many players in the squad seeking moves elsewhere, and at a loss for the club financially because they are entering final years of contracts. Think there's a distinction between looking at footballers as professionals and then looking at them as emotive individuals. Spurs current misfortunes in my opinion are due to years of mismanagement off the field.

Doesn't bode well for Spurs. Hard to see anything but decline looming. Even their own 'Arry might start caring lustful glances elsewhere

Couldn't be happening to a more stubborn penny pincher in Levy. Deserves all he gets after putting ridiculous valuations on his 'stars'.

I hope Kane follows suit in pursuit of trophies and accolades. He is wasting his talent and career at Spurs and could do so much better.
