Volta is a bit of a disappointment. Nothing like FIFA street. Skills are pointless and it's basically 5v5 on a small pitch and you just pass it around. No skills no fun. Career mode is still the same crap every year. Only fun thing they added into this game is the different match types in FUT.
Even the different match types which are supposed to be fun either aren’t played or people still act like cnuts. I played one yesterday and the guy rage quit because I scored one goal. What’s the point?
He'll have been getting the objectives for playing them. He won't have realised if you quit that it doesn't count though.

I was doing the same. The previous time I tried the guy obviously had an elastic band on his controller because any time he got the ball they ran in a straight line out of play. The game is ruined by the community but not enough is done to stop it either.
It’s frustrating that you get punished for playing in high divisions on pro clubs. Playing in div 1 during the day takes hours to find a match. It’s the only game mode I play.
Amount of div 1 scaldies dropping down divisions is annoying.

Yep, it all feels a bit pointless. My pack luck is atrocious over the past three Fifa's so good luck me with packing anything that's going to get me anywhere.
I’ve completely knocked it on the head. Literally 0 point playing when the rewards so so worthless. Like its been said above high rated cards are worth nothing, so it’s impossible steadily building a great team because after a couple of weeks the price of the players you have bought absolutely plummet. The only way to get a meta team is to spend £2000-3000 or play the game relentlessly (ie every spare minute of down time you have) and get super lucky with the packs you get. I played loads for the first couple of months, getting the storyline player and playing WL and I don’t have alot to show for it at all. My mate on the other hand packed Makalele, Salah, Pogba, IF Dybala and a host of others I’m forgetting off rewards and free packs!! Its been very salty for me

You could spend £1k now and struggle to get a million coins. Even spending that much, it's still really unlikely you'll pack anyone over 100k coins. The flip side it has made a good team way more accessible to 90% of the game. You can easily get a good team for really cheap now, it's just impossible to bridge the gap from the good players to the elite (Neymar, Messi etc) as you need to pack about 30 of the good cards to have the coins.I’ve completely knocked it on the head. I pumped all my cash in the first 2 weeks, will be doing the same next year. Completely useless buying packs.
I think it’s strange EA aren’t trying to manipulate the market as surely this is massively affecting fifa point sales and we all know how greedy they are, there’s absolutely nothing to open packs for because players are so cheap. Surely EA know this.
As for the game itself it’s dead, there is nothing to play for at all. I’d love them to bring back bronze, silver and gold tournaments. Why they removed them in the first place I’ll never know. Just imagine how refreshing it would be to play against another silver team instead of lenglet, Militao, Lucas, Werner every game.

Haha I'm of no use to you. I sold van Dyke the other day for the same reason as you, I bought manolas for 14k and he does the exact same job if not better. Honestly I've no idea where to use your coins as I'm sat on 1.8 million as I refuse to pay big for any player, When you can buy a meta team for 100k that'll beat any multi million coin team what's the point in spending big.

Volta? Yes, it has 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5 matches in it. It has been super fun. For online mode, you can't chooose the match type, but for offline, there are tournaments specifially designed for 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5

Completed him now mate. I flew through them all apart from fecking burnley and Watford. They took 5 or 6 games. I went down a division too though not on purpose because of losing.
Got offered this for £30 lasT night so ended up getting it. Haven’t fired up FUT but thought I’d have a quick crack at career mode just to refresh my memory and wow! If only real transfer buisness was this easy. I’m not even finished the first transfer window but so far I bought. Havertz, Sancho, Tonali, Konaté, Upamemcampo and Mbappe in 1 window whilst managing to get rid of Mata, Lingard, Matic, Jones,Young, Bailly and Rojo.

Rio is a beast tbh. Everything you want in a CB if you arent set there. Zanetti is an end game RB. With Rio you can still get Pep (who for me seems like just an SBC filler if any sbc ever needs an icon). Can also get Schmeichel with Rio if you arent set at keeper. Or you can go Giggs and Keane for 2 United icons. Drogba doesn't seem worth it and doesnt seem like the best striker icon from that group anyway (butragueno imo).
