Absolutely no loyalty, Spurs sack their best manager of the PL era because they might not make the UCL next season

Fecking joke

Should have done it earlier in the International Break really. Not really a surprise when he's failed to win any trophies, losing games and lost the dressing room. Hope we stay well clear of this fraud.
Why is this word thrown around so easily these days?

Big link to Nagelsmann in this morning's papers. Kind of unusual for a paper to be talking about the next manager when someone still has the job. It was the main headline too in The Times (perhaps elsewhere too? that's the only one I saw), think they knew it was coming.

Nagelsmann isn't favourite with the bookies though, that's Mourinho.

Long shot but ..off to Atleti after Simeone leaves at the end of the season citing he can't do anymore at the club.

Why wait til nearer the end of the international break? Time to work on a replacement?

Possibly a good decision - looks like he'S taken them as far as he can and probably time to try something new. Shame it won't be with us.

Not surprised the league table doesn't lie. League results in 2019 was proof of how much Spurs had regressed under Poch. Reaching the CL final only papered over the cracks.

That is a massive surprise, poor timing if we are indeed interested in getting him at some point. Real won't wait around, he'll be there in Jan.

I really think he could be the manager for United. I reckon he'd get the support in the transfer market that he felt he didn't get at Tottenham in the recent years. I also believe he'd be given at least a couple of years as well which he probably wouldn't get at Madrid or another big club.

hang on. They did back him this summer didn’t they?
With who? They didn't sell the players he wanted gone and waited until the last day of the window before bringing in a couple of midfielders who were available and haven't really even played so far this season.

They've got players running down their contracts that have been allowed to stay which completely undermines his position also. All because Levy wanted over the odds for them as always.

Feels like a bad decision, but something has definitely snapped. Maybe there's no turning back for him internally.

Hardly

They bought in a player to replace their best CM who Levy allowed to leave on a free, other than that a loan signing to replace their most creative player who Levy is also allowing to leave on a free and a token youth signing

Wow so Mauricio Pochettino is no longer manager of Tottenham Hotspur, this has to be some sort of power play from Daniel Levy cause this is a bizarre turn in events for sure.

Can already see it. He will join some other club in Jan and we will sack Ole in summer without a proper replacement lined up.

Wow. He did a fantastic job and I'd say a lot of the issues this year are players who really don't wanna be there (Rose, Eriksen, the two main centre backs)

A side point, 5 years seems pretty impressive for a manager in this day and age.

Christ knows how many offers he rejected to stay over the years.

Madrid aren't that bad now to sack Zidane earlier. We have enough time to start negotiating with him and securing his position here. It will honestly be ridiculous if we keep on being that inconsistent under Ole and decide to stick with him leaving a PL squad building proven manager go to another club.

This is why managers should jump ship when their stock is high. Mental from Spurs.
