Been re-listening to a lot of Fiona Apple recently. When the Pawn... and The Idler Wheel... might both have stupidly long album titles but they're two of the best albums of the eras they were released into.
She's such a brilliant lyricist as well. This little passage isn't even from either of these albums (it's from Parting Gift on Extraordinary Machine) but it makes me laugh every time with how clever it is.
