Dean is still there!

Unbelievable.

Thomas had to go i suppose. Although i do agree with what he said in the boardroom, in that he does always speak first and then others follow. At least he has some ideas and is not afraid of putting himself out there, unlike most of them. That Pamela should've gone ages ago. Literally can't think of anything she's done.

But Dean. Fecking hell. The absolute worst candidate to have got the far without a shadow of a doubt.
There's a difference between being courageous and just plain stupid. He was told repeatedly from early on in the process that he had to be less hard-headed and take on the contributions of others. He was a shoe-in to win based on Sugar's conspicious fondness for him and his talent for face-to-face selling. It's impossible to really know how much he integrated that advice given the editing but it's fair to say in nearly 10 weeks he failed to make the adjustment since he was continually criticized and eventually fired for it. He was lucky not to go last week for volunteering himself into the boardroom out of some warped sense of chivalry for a candidate who should have been fired already anyway, had it been anyone else that did that Sugar would have punished them on the spot.

Yeah, you may be reading too much into what i'm saying really. I'm not going to sit here and defend the guy to the death. The only point i was making was that it's very easy for the other contestants to criticise him in the boardroom, while they would follow him (often blindly) in the task . At least he was coming up with ideas and putting himself out there while they would often hide behind his back. They started to push back a little later on in the process, but often times it seemed they would look to him.

I much prefer him to someone like Pamela, for instance, who's done nothing yet has got this far because she often hides away (unlike him). But yeah, i agree with his firing. Was just pointing out that i agreed with what he said, somewhat.

He's terrible. Been terrible in every task, tbh. There's absolutely no way he should still be in the running. Him and Lottie together are quite something. I'm no fan of her either, really. She's the youngest there, and she really acts like it. Thinks she's the smartest person in the room at all times but i can ignore that - it's just all bollox. But Dean gets me. The guy is so far out of his depth.

But yeah, i guess he done what he had to do. Although not sure how much that really was.
Without a doubt, but you have to give him a bit of credit for his role in getting the act they wanted. He made it clear he wanted them to put on a united front and connect with the acts. He also managed to shut Lottie down when she tried taking over the editing. She has to be one of the most annoying candidates I've seen.

I didn't think any of the songs were suitable for the corporate clients but what Thomas and Marianne did to that song was unforgivable.

No surprise the 6 most attractive ones made it to the final 6.

Thought Mary Ann was very unlucky to be eliminated. One of the two who negotiated with the client should have been eliminated for not managing to get anything at all

Lottie has been playing the viola since she was 4 dont you know!
The part when she said that she’s been in the music industry for 15 years is was totally bemusing!

It’s like me saying I’ve been in the video games industry for 21 years as started playing video games from the age of 6.

God Lottie is such a cnut I work with a girl exactly like her too. Talks with a sense of unearned authority to others.
I work with two ladies that are very similar to Lottie as well. Both think they are higher up than the rest, not knowing that they are on the same paycheque as the rest of us.

I personally want her to get to the interview stages just to see her get proper roasted and shot right back down to reality by the likes of Claude, Linda, Mike etc.

Didn't she say she did something with orchestras as well

I'm exactly the same as you with wanting her in the interview round just to see her get roasted! She is so dismissive of the others I know some of them arent great but still, Tommy especially she thought was beneath her

Excellent Lottie vs the interviewers is going to be hilarious!

I'm starting to get a hunch she might win. They are all pretty average this year no one stands out if Thomas could listen better I'd have picked him as the winner but wonder if he was thinking "will he actually listen to me even" if I make him my business partner. If I had a company and needed a salesman I'd hire him

The only other possible would be the one with the dark hair and drawn on eyebrows I cant remember her name but she isnt amazing. Lewis was generally decent until tonight and I think they like him

The interviews are my favourite task surely if you're going on this show you'd have all sorts of people read your business plan, especially those high up in companies/ finance to get it absolutely perfect they always find it so easy to spot glaring holes I'd be making sure mine was absolutely in line if I went on there.

Lottie, while clearly intelligent, is such a know it all shes played the viola since she was 4, picked wedding perfumes for multiple friends, what hasnt she done?!
Clearly we have made a massive oversight not appointing her as United manager as no doubt shes been in football since she was 2!

It's funny how she often volunteers as PM and the others dont want her anywhere near the role and will pick anyone but her!

Cant wait to see her in the interviews.

Dean had to go he wasnt too bad last week but the task with the train he was terrible and one before that he was awful as well his pitching of the perfume was shocking they were a potential client and he just rammed it under their nose!

I think the reason why no one votes for her as PM is simply because she doesn’t let anyone else have a say. It’s either her way or no way. Karina mentioned that the reason she put herself forward as PM was simply because she didn’t want to be managed by Lottie. Especially when she demoted her as sub team leader to sous chef in the train task

The part when she said that she had more experience in perfume than Scarlet & Karina because she chose her friends perfumes for their weddings was comical!

Can’t wait to see her get proper roasted and brought suddenly back down to reality by Claude, Linda & Mike in the interviews!

Oh yes forgot about her demoting Karina on the train

If she could play better with others she would be in very strong contention for the win, someone at work said her business is something to do with make up though.

She wasn't nice to Thomas either and dismissed him and was almost quite condescending towards him as he wasn't as posh as her

Bet she picked out the most expensive perfumes for their weddings

That's why I wanted her for the interviews as Claude and co will roast her, I wanted Ryan Mark there too that would have been comical too, wonder if he will be one of the ones brought back to help in the final

God knows what they were thinking letting Dean lead the pitch; I just knew he’d feck it up. The guy always seems uncomfortable in his own skin.

I don’t know if you guys noticed the smug ‘I told you so’ look on Lottie’s face when the clients mentioned that their pitch should’ve had an advertising campaign to illustrate the story. Was hilarious

Anyway, at this point I can’t pinpoint exactly who of the remaining candidates I can see winning but I reckon Karina and Lottie will definitely make the final.

Neither can I but I think you might be right with that final prediction.

Apparently Karina is the most successful candidate in Apprentice history.

Lottie isn’t doing ‘you’re fired/hired ’ apparently. Can’t see how they’d have her as the winner but then shun the after show stuff.

No chance she wins. She's come this far because she's the most interesting candidate, her and Thomas carried the season.

She'll get made a fool of in the interviews and get her comeuppance.

Yeah that was an absolutely shocking episode.

Lottie is clearly going to go down the “young Conservative woman” path soon enough.

Episode just made it obvious Carina is going to win.

Lottie only got that far so they could give her her comeuppance. Business plan with no figures? Lewis didn't seem to have a clue.

The interview process seemed shorter than usual. How the hell did Lottie do a business plan with no figures?

I reckon she did that on purpose - doubt she had any interest in winning the show, she's just their to boost her profile/become famous.

But yeah, bit of a let down... Claude ripping into people, and the other bloke going to coffee shops/ordering stuff from their sites being the highlights.

That Scottish guy is quality. I love that he does stuff like that every year.
