Great game for us. We rested players and didn't have to break a sweat. And a clean sheet is nice for a change. Bournemouth made it easy though. Behind at home and didn't fight for it.

Bournemouth looked absolutely demoralised in that second half. Obviously the two hamstring injuries took their toll but they stopped doing the bare minimum. Last half hour looked easier than a training game.

C'mon Yaanited! I'm hoping for an Ole tactical masterclass and Pep sinking in his seat gulping on his bottle wondering where it all went wrong..

Arsenal rode their luck the season they did it. As you say, it's got to all fall your way.

To be fair they drew a good few more than yourselves have.
I think Liverpool can score in every league match of a season. Bizarrely that hasn't been done since Arsenal 2002.

I never really understand comments like this.

They are a small club doing ridiculously well and made themselves a stable team under a good young manager...at a level bigger clubs like Leeds, Derby, Forest, Sunderland etc haven't.

If anything they should be applauded.
Feel free to applaud them then.

I just find them incredibly inconsequential and uninspired as a club.

Good game so far. City with most of the possession but United had couple of good chances as well. This is going to be a cracking game if both team maintains the intensity.

This must be one of the very few games where Liverpool fans are cheering Utd on.

A general football forum. The opposition fans themselves admit they don't view it as a United forum. It's not a bad thing I guess, it's due to how successful it's become.
Just because they 'feel' it's not a United forum doesn't make it a general one. Hover over the tab on the front page in your browser and it'll say "The leading Manchester United forum'. But who cares about facts nowadays, people's feelings and opinions are more important.

(I'm not having a go at you by the way, I realise you're just relaying the opinions of those opposing fans)

Nice start so far, both teams giving their all. Can see Man. United scoring at least once today, just a question if their defensive structure can hold v all the Man. City movement.

Obvious penalty. No idea what they’re complaining at. United have been well in this game. Look dangerous every time James gets a run on Angelino.

City’s midfield doesn’t protect the back four very well.

Fred looking like the player Utd hoped when they signed him. Great game, Utd tearing them to shreds on the break.

Has De Bruyne touched the ball yet, very quiet game so far.

City look so vulnerable from counter attacks, playing with fear now after getting shown up a good few times.

This is United. The passing on the counter crisp. But they are gifting the league to Pool.

Man. City so badly miss Aguero in these type of games. He'd get a goal out of little and that would swung the momentum. Gabriel Jesus isn't a bad striker but there's a clear gulf between the two.

If Man. City lose this they'd need to win every game left to beat last season's points tally.

Shows the incredible level they've had last two years. A bit of a dip and they're miles behind in title race.

They're not needing any gifts the way they just keep on winning. We're the only team to take points off them this season.

Man. United's best 45 minutes v a top level team in years unless I'm missing an obvious game. Defended well and lethal on the counter.
