So, we have a chance of getting Haaland then?
Was subbed. Imo a fair game of his. Showed his potential and had some chances. Very good in taken the wall with him, powerful shots on goal but precision was missing. If Dortmundgets him, it will be the perfect addition for them squad.

Don't see Barca stopping them - Madrid, Bayern or one of the English teams could do it though.
Can't see Chelsea stopping them. Mourinho might do it though. City right now do not look good enough to stop them given how poor they defend although with Laporte back they might do better. Bayern need a better manager to do it too. They are not better than last year right now.
Psg could win if they get all the big guns ready. Neymar and mbappe with di Maria could hurt them. Then Herrera and gueye can play dirty in midfield.

With a more experienced UCL team RBS couldhave taken them tonight but they showed them too much.

Other teams won't be quite as open

Yes, all these teams who keep knocking us out of Europe. Who are they again?

I don’t if Salah has been the best player on the pitch or the worst. His movement has been excellent and has gotten into great positions. He has also missed great chances from those positions. He also scored a goal from impossible angle with his wrong foot.

Thus Liverpool become the first team in history to not concede a goal to Haaland when playing him in the Champions League.

Tbf most teams that are actively trying to attack Liverpool get smashed more often than not. That's pretty much how they have been set up since Klopp joined. Salzburg have been doing extremely well and with a bit of luck could even have gotten something out of this.

The nerve of these Scouse cnuts.

You are just another team. They slotted three past you mugs at Anfield, FFS!
Yes we are just another team who are current European Champions. As I said, Salzburg were impressive in first half. In second half, they couldnt keep up the same tempo and we controlled the game very well.
As for they scoring three past us at Anfield, we scored one more than them.

Bayern, Real, Barca and even Chelsea are very hard ties. I fancy Ajax too against them. If they have to face a hard route then I don't see them progressing. Now they definitely could do it because they are an awesome side but I'm not convinced by them even in the PL (which they'll win at a canter). It may seems strange but they may end up as the biggest winners of the PL but I'm not convinced by them. This isn't hate either because Liverpool are incredible right now but no Pep's Barca where I think they may be actually unbeatable.

Yeah, agreed on the English sides.
Think Bayern were devastated by injuries/suspensions when they met last year, I think with a clean bill of health they will knock the scousers out. Personnel wise Bayern are better than last year, the coach is fine he was Lowe's tactician during the world cup in brazil.
Madrid because they're the masters of shithousery, dark arts and the ton of experience they have at these high pressure games.
PSG could do it.

Meh, Salah's goal is on the defender, not the keeper. Coming out was the right choice, salah just pulled off a great finish with his weak foot. If he doesn't come out he has to deal with a 1on1

We put our A team out to do a job. Pretty much the same A team that are champions, champions of Europe. Plus this time we didn't fall asleep in the second half like we did at Anfield. And we worked out Minimino and Hwang's weaknesses. I wasn't worried tonight.

Need to make sure we don't screw up against Watford on Saturday. I always worry more in Premier league games.
