We're never going to consistantly beat teams that sit in again under OGS. If we can get Poch I'd go for it whilst we've still got a shot at top 4

Worst team in the league and we can’t even test the keeper one time in 90 minutes. If you ignore the errors that cost us two goals we’d have just drawn 0-0. Never looked like scoring before Pogba came on and even after I never felt anyone was going to score even if he put it on a plate for someone.

I lost count of the number of times Maguire, Shaw or Fred misplaced a simple 5 yard pass. No other team lacks so much technical quality as us. I’m not looking for someone to spray a 50 yard pass or control a ball that’s fallen out of the sky with ease, but maybe control a ball that’s rolling towards you on the ground or perhaps find a team mate who is a mere 10 yards away and not even moving...

Can't remember a worse performance off the top of my head.

Diabolically bad.

Certain players aren't great and Ole can't motivate them. Just let him go, please. This isn't the first time it's happened this season (fifth time now?).
The manager shouldn't have to motivate players. The money they make to play should motivate them.

I'm on less a year than these players get in a week. My manager doesn't have to motivate me to do the job every day.

Because Watford have appointed a manager who knows how to manage a football team.
So to win against spurs and city you don't need to know how to manage a football team? Literally no one in that team can walk off that pitch proud of what they left on the pitch, that's not down to any manager. What have we seen over the last 6 or so years that makes people think anyone in our squad bar 1 or 2 is good enough?

Pathetic, but typical. Not even sure why I allow myself to get annoyed at these results because its all so typical. Right from our inability to break teams down, and then the two mistakes for the goals. Horrendous stuff from De Gea for the first one. For the second I can only assume Wan Bissaka lost his head completely which isn't a sign of this mentally strong team we keep hearing about from our manager. Played some better stuff when Pogba came on and he had some nice moments. But it was too little, too late.
We failed to take advantage of a Chelsea loss last weekend, and this week we have failed to take advantage of the fact either one (or both) of Spurs/Chelsea will drop points. Very frustrating.

I'm just going on The Caf
I can remember following United through the late 80s dross, but this and unfortunately many other performances in the last couple of years are equal to that shite. No intensity desire or focus until we're 2-0 down, passing and movement ridiculously poor . A goalie who cant do the basics any more and tactically all over the place.
Big decisions ahead.

Deja-vu once more.

I see no evidence of a shift in culture. As unfocused, jittery and pedestrian as anything we’ve seen the last six years.

I know that he conceived a penalty but Wan-Bissaka was a one-man wall at the back. Definitely a contender. Constantly won the ball back after our mistakes and covered Lindelöf & Maguire who just switched off at certain moments.

Absolutely diabolical stuff. Played like a pub team after a heavy night out in the first half, I lost count of the under hit/misplaced passes. No intensity in at all!

Come out in the second half and just hand them the game. Watford were crap today, didn't really create anything of note until we started throwing bodies forward at the end. United beat themselves.

In a season of disappointment this game has really struck a nerve with me. What's the point of beating City and Spurs, with great performances, and then showing this shit against Everton and Watford?!

I think I've fallen into the Ole out camp, finally. I just can't excuse this anymore. We didn't look like a football team today.

At least Pogba looked good. Maybe we'll have at least some creativity with him back in the team.

Basically the same old story, if you want to beat our team:

Sit back as we can’t create anything.

Thats it, that’s literally it.

The manner of the defeat is worrying. It is not as if we had 15 shots on target and watford got lucky. We were totally not at it.

James, Lingard, Martial, Mctominah did not look up for it at all. That is the managers fault. They woke up today wishing they did not have to play a match and wishing they could get a sleep in.

Only Fred and Pogba was good.

Give Ole an extension, he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. This performance has gave me more confidence in him. He has done nothing which is a plus as it can’t get any worst...I mean I’m the type of clown who would cheer if we got relegated so losing to ShitFord is nothing.

I’m the type of plonker who thinks anyone that talks sense is a glory hunter and ain’t got a fecking clue about football.

I’m the type of prat who walks around with my eyes closed but will strike down on anyone who can see the light and try’s to describe it to me.

Ole will make Busby and SAF look like amateurs by the time he’s done...you heard it here first

2 fullbacks who cant attack, 2 midfielder primarily there to win the ball back and he plays jesse lingard game after game behind the striker. where the feck does he expect a creativity to come from??
Ihave a feeling the ful backs are capable of a lot more but are coached to be cautious...

You can’t blame Ole for two massive errors, but Ole has to be blamed again for not preparing players for a poor opponent which sits low and hits us on counters.

Martial is only consistently effective coming in from the left flank, but his poor attitude on the pitch is a net drag on the team. His ability is unquestioned but we just can’t have a player who sulks all game. And can we just get Lingard off the fukking pitch once and for all?

Embarrassing loss. 4 minutes of madness at the start of the 2nd half where DeGea and Wan Bissaka basically gifted the win to Watford whom didn't look like creating a chance before that nevermind scoring and only had one shot on target after those two goals.

Was still enough time for United to get something out of the game but they huffed and puffed which allowed Watford who didn't need to play well to run out comfortable winners.

The group of United players are tiresome to watch. Lack leadership, spine and fold easier than a pack of cards. 8th is where they deserve and will likely finish the season in. A major clear out is needed so many of these players aren't fit to wear the United shirt.

Wait you surprised? On what level of goldfish you have to be to change your views after winning vs Spurs and City. The mighty Watford.

It's at times like this when you realise how severely limited your vocabulary is. More negative records broken is the least of our problems.

De Gea needs to see the bench. Almost every game he is at fault for a goal. And Romero has more clean sheets than him this year in only a fraction of the starts. Romero has earned a chance to start some games...

I'm seeing in the player ratings that once again everyone has scapegoated Lingard and voted him the worst player. He wasn't great by any means, but how De Gea isn't the lowest rated player along with AWB is a real head scratcher. And I'm not just picking on AWB for the penalty. He was useless today and I hope that's just a one off and he comes back strong. And I am getting really sick of seeing Martial put in absolutely no effort off the ball. We need a new striker ASAP.

Today is rock bottom. Sure, Foster played well and will probably get MOTM making 8 saves, but this is the last place team that had only scored 9 goals coming into today and now they score 2 against us? The only positive that I can take from today was that we looked a lot better once Pogba came on. Why that change wasn't made at halftime is beyond me...

We really do have big problems, this was a particularly shit performance but we have shown we are consistently unable to produce against this level of team and it's just not good enough.

We certainly don't help ourselves when we constantly feck up chances to go ahead and then gift teams a goal but the performance level has been unacceptable in the vast majority of games of this ilk this season and there are no signs that things are improving.

The big games have given us some relief because it's always satisfying to see us go toe to toe with teams superior to us but it counts for very little when the Everton and Watford performances are right around the corner.

The thing that makes me most furious from this match is not a massive howler from the goalkeeper, but the fact that this team barely troubled the worst team in the league.

We have had numerous games in the past where we’ve lost to a really mediocre team but we’ve absolutely hammered their opposition goal and it somehow didn’t go in... Those are just as annoying but once you step away and come back to it later, you’ll realise on another day we’d have absolutely thrashed that team.

However this was absolutely not the case for this game. We were awful throughout. We could play until Christmas Eve and probably wouldn’t have scored.

That was bad. Probably the worst we had played this season, up there with the game against Sheffield but without the massive injury list, the comeback and an in form opposition. Everything was just very, very bad. Awful performances all around, incredible individual feck ups and, despite no creativity whatsoever and no conviction in finishing any random chance we managed to stumble into, all against a team that will very likely be relegated.

I don't know. It's just very difficult for anyone to get out of this position. If you're unable to get on a run of wins you're just going to be stuck in the middle of the table and that just cannot be good enough. I guess this is just where we are at the moment.

It is what it is. We desperately need a good run of games, but considering we were unable to build on two good wins against top 6 opposition, there's not a lot of evidence, faith, hope, anything that we are capable of doing that. We'll see, maybe something will magically click at some point. Or we'll have to start from the begging again, next season.

We looked better when Pogba came on but still not good enough. Such an apathetic performance, the likes of which we have seen so often. How can we go into a game against the bottom team in the league, a team that have been dreadful all season, and look like we didn't believe we could win the game?

The worst thing is we've seen this exact performance how many times this season? And yet Ole will come out and emphasise we're 'growing' as a team, 'all part of the process'.

It's hard to stomach much more of this. How can we go from so high after the City match, to a low such as this. Lack of coaching? Mentality? Professionalism? Whatever way you look at it, it doesn't look good. No movement, pace, energy, aggression, personality. The worst thing about today is because we were beaten because Watford wanted it more and out worked us. The bare minimum we should be demanding from our players is work rate and desire

What an awful day this turned out to be. My cold got worse while watching this game, that's how bad we are. I feel physically ill watching this dross. I'm literally having a hard time writing this because my hands are shaking.

I will probably be able to think of a few positives later this evening our maybe tomorrow, but right now I just want to slaughter every United player for that disgraceful performance. I have never seen anything more pathetic than that.

This is not reactionary however; De Gea has been a wonderful keeper for us over the years, but he's past it and can't make the most simple of saves anymore. He should definitely make way for Henderson next season (if Henderson even wants come here, he seems to achieve a lot more in Sheffield). We should've sold De Gea that summer to Real.

One of the worst games I've ever seen from McTominay. If he is the leader the figure everyone says he is, he should be the first one to show determination and a winning mentality. He fecked up, and he fecked up real good, hope he sits down for a bit when he gets home and think about his worthless perfomance so we don't have to see that shite again. Ole should drill him extra hard next training session.

Everyone is basically worthless except Martial, Fred, and Pogba. Rashford was decent but if he wants to be our starman, then he has to be our fecking starman! Not just an average player in our team.

Watford were class. Judging from this game, they should not be in the bottom half, they should easily be top 7. What a fantastic, heroic performance. Hope they win everything everywhere.

There is a reason why teams play with a holding midfield player and an attacking midfield player. We do not play with either. When they pass Fred or Scott our midfield get passed. So in one move our midfield is done away with. When we attack we have Lingard on top of the midfield and he does feck all. Ole should have put Pogba in after the break and it is not in hindsight and everyone said it at the time why is he not putting in Pogba? This was when it was still 0-0.
This team is not coached to play football. Nigel Pearson was found to be a better coach than Ole. Would you accept him as the Manager at United? Of course not so why should we be accepting Ole Gunnar still?

Against teams that don't allow us space, we seem clueless and most likely to drop points, however we do well against the better teams. Unfortunately, the points on offer against the lower teams are what get you up the table.

Unbeaten against seven teams above them - 15 points in 7 games. 2 wins against the 12 teams below them - 11 points.
