Haland
Draxler
Paredes

Apparently, PSG is ready to offload both Paredes and Draxler and they would cost 50-55mil€ together. I know they are not some flashy names but we would get some width to the squad in positions that are critical (Paredes as CDM and Draxler as CM/CAM). Next summer we can talk about Maddison, Havertz, Sancho and others.

Healthy nutrition
Solidify that midfield:
1) Ndidi
2) F. Ruiz / SMS / Saul
3) Ziyech / B. Fernandes / Sancho

If we can afford a fourth:
4) Milik / Haaland

------------------ Haaland -----------------
---------- Rashford | Ziyech -----------
--------- Pogba | Ndidi | Ruiz ---------
Shaw | Maguire | Lindelof | AWB

Four players who look to be available in the January window;

CF Erling Haaland, Salzburg, 19, incredibly productive with size and skills #9 is a bargain even with Raiola's 12m fee.
DM/DLP Sander Berge, Genk, 21, huge DM with nimble feet and very good passing range and accuracy for around 25m. CB Jean-Claire Todibo, Barca, 20, extremely athletic with good size and skill set for around 18m. LB Caio Henrique, Fluminense, 22, fast, quick defender that can pass and dribble on a free transfer with an Italian passport

Summer window; RW Jadon Sanch, 20, Dortmund; CM Teun Koopmeiners, 22, Az Alkmaar, and ACM Hwang Hee-chan, 24, Salzburg.

Roughly 250m gross spend in next 2 windows for a serious improvement in the squads depth, physical ability and skill level.

This January, realistic target:
Haaland - Striker/CF
Kristoffer Olsson - Krasnodar - CM (creative and offensive) nr.8. But he can do a good back up job for McTom too. Olsson is lightweight. Run alot, aggressive and good to tackle.
Federico Chiesa - Fiorentina. A attacking player who can play on both wings and as a free cam role.

Potential line up

Chiesa/James - McTom/Fred - Pogba/Olsson - Rashford/Chiesa/James + Haaland/Greenwood + Martial/Rashford

Important to get 4 or win Uefa Cup to get ch.league spot.
Haaland. Olsson from Krasnodar and Chiesa from Fiorentina. All of those 3 will strength the creative from cm in Olsson. Chiesa to strength the rw option and Haaland to strength the more natural scorer option.
United will strength central midfield, rw and CF from January. Go into the last half of season, more and better prepare against injuries to key players.

Then next summer :

Jadon Sancho, RW/LW. Dortmund

Fabian Ruiz DCM/CM. Napoli

2020/21 potential line up:

Sancho/James - McTom/Fabian Ruiz - Pogba/Olsson - Chiesa/James + Haaland/Greenwood - Rashford/Martial

Bruno Fernandes (Nr.8/10) for Pogba he is leaving.

That are the transfers target i think are realistic

Kristoffer Olsson to strength the creative from cm area is a must in January. You never know if Pogba can stay fit for rest of the season. Olsson creative and covering the field ability beside McTom for crucial for chances, goals and points.

If i am United manager and DOF. Those are mine transfer targets.

We're not signing anyone in January but if we making January signings, then perhaps the following 3 could be available

Boubakary Soumare
Longstaff
Jarrod Bowen

I think we will probably buy Haaland and possibly get some loans from PSG which would definitely give us a chance for top 4.
I think this is likely as well. Håland and a loanee. Juve might have someone decent available for a loan as well?

We don't often do loans, and I'd be surprised if we started doing it now.
If there was ever a time for us to find a loan it's now. A 4th midfielder to join Pogba, Fred and McTominay is badly needed. We just saw Arsenal and Munich get Ceballos and Coutinho on loans because #10 types are tricky to use. For an extra couple million in fee maybe we can find a similarly talented player not working out at their team. Munich got Perisic on loan which would also have helped us, as we could have played 4-4-2 with Pogba out but with 2 actually talented wingers in James and Perisic and Rashford up top with Martial.

Lemar from Atletico seems like the obvious one to me. He's not fitting in and we could offer real money with an option to buy for enough that Atletico can recoup more than half of the 60M they spent on him and definitely regret. Ozil is past it or he would make sense.

PSG maybe would let us have Draxler or Paredes for 6 months for the right fee?

Another interesting name would be Kalinic at Roma, not a midfielder and he might be totally done but on a cheap loan for 6 months he'd give us a physical striker at least, which could be a better option for the last 20-30 minutes of games than our #10s. Low upside on this one though.

We should probably just buy a midfielder, but if we're not ready to commit big funds until the summer, I think there's probably a loan move available if we're clever, which we probably won't be.

Grealish
Buendia
Phillips

Midfield sorted, right wing sorted, all a great age, bags of creativity in Buendia and Grealish, lots of mobility and physicality in Phillips, all tick Ole's boxes and won't cost a fortune.

We need a CM who can actually run a game for us. Currently no one in our squad can, and it's killing us.

Also an attacker who can replace rashford out wide.

80 + 60 + 20M? Maybe some add-ons for Graelish?

Front 6 of:

McTominay Saul
Graelish Pogba Rashford
Martial/Håland

That would be an improved team in terms of goals and creativity.
Not necessarily. Grealish on the right? Still no-one to truly get their foot on the ball a bit in central midfield? No natural holder? Pogba potentially in a position which doesn’t suit? Martial and Haaland offer very different qualities

Yep. I don't get everyone's obsession with a 10. We have Pogba who is the creative force in midfield in a 433, but is more involved in the buildup. We need a DM and a midfielder who can run the game. Also a RW.

It's hard for me to come up with names right now for those 3 spots apart from Sancho so I'll just list future hopefuls regardless of those 3 present needs

1. Bellingham (Pogba understudy)
2. Sancho

Try to acquire a big amount of talents around Greenwood's age. Getting Bellingham and Sancho would have us with the best English talent of 2000, 2001, and 2003. Having Mejbri gives us a top 3 French talent of the 2003 generation.

Is Saul realistic? He’s a boyhood Atletico fan. I don’t think he will ever leave the club.
Why not? Just call him

In all seriousness others have left their boyhood clubs, Torres for example. If the circumstances are right it could be a slight possibility

Realistic signing.

Ever Banega. He’s available on a free in the summer as well. Short term fix but we need some experience in the team and he’s exactly what we need. He’s the tempo in midfield.

Wardrobe.
Saul Niguez or Thomas Partey. (Kalvin Phillips or Soumare - back up options)
Bruno, Olmo, Maddison or Greshlish.
Sancho or Ziyech

We need a proper shortlist now - none of this if we can't get one then nobody nonsense.

He has improved the defense. Next would be midfield in my view. The attack isnot a priority unless we get a good striker.
getting rid of players like rojo, young and matic is another step. I heard their contract expires end of the season. I hope mata goes too.

Olmo and Berge should be available for a combined 50m, and both clubs I think would be willing to let them go. Worth the gamble, and they'd already be upgrades on Lingard, Pereira... Throw money at Sancho in the summer.

Olmo has offers from a lot of clubs. Given that I can't imagine it's a fee as low as 25m .

These are all really good options but it seems like the only ones that Utd have shown serious concrete interest in are Maddison & Sancho, really hope Utd do not turn into a team who just buy british players because they haven't enough knowledge of the European market.

My three ideal realistic signings would be

Soumare

Grealish

Sancho (champions league dependent)

Yeah Buendía had some good stats last season, has really kicked on this season.

I dont think we need 3 new players in January but we do need 2.
I would go for Haaland and Grealish or Bruno as nr 10. If we keep Vidic and Pogba, we have these and Fred, McT rotating.
In the summer we should go for a World Class CM

I can only see an absolute maximum of 2 players coming in next month, however with our board I have serious concerns that we won't bring anyone in at all. There definitely seems a real divided opinion in our fanbase in who should be brought in for that number 10 position as some want Maddison, some want Grealish and some want Olmo. Personally I keep changing my mind on which of those players would best fit into this Utd team right now.

Well Haaland can now be scratched off the list, would be intrigued to know what the stumbling block when we met the release clause.

Werner would give us some competition in our front three and give our attack a different dimension. I fear that our only chance of a January transfer has gone out the window.

I feel that either Haaland or Werner would give us some competition in our front three and each would give our attack a different dimension in their own ways. My gut feeling says we are more interested in Haaland but if there is anything in the Juventus stuff then perhaps we will look at alternative options in January.
We don't need players who think they are too big for their boots. Haaland does not seem like he will come to United. Juve were looking to replace Higuain/ Mandzukic. I think the opportunity to play with CR7 and Dybala would swing the deal in their favor. As for the No. 10, I would go for Olmo or Maddison. The good thing about Maddison is that he's PL proven and he'll want to remain at OT but he's gonna cost around 85m.
