    My guess on second half.
We will do pretty much nothing but score with about 10 to go and then do nothing, losing 2-1

Good thing the loss won't hurt us much considering the results this week. Will just keep everything as it was.
We’ve been doing this for years. No point in being happy when our rivals lose when we fail to close the gap every single time.

Kolasinac must be close to a second yellow. Feels like the only chance right now.

I just listened to Giggs analysing it. He said it's very tactical by Arsenal and United had no answers so far. Ole needs to go.

An utter shambles in the first half. They make Arsenal look like they're the best team in the league. Woeful from United. This could be an embarrassing scoreline. Still Ole will come out with the "we go again" shit after the match.

Ridiculous? Have you even watched Arsenal this season? They have been utter shit. They have never played with this kind of organisation in attack or defence. It is a well-coached 1st half performance boosted by the inevitable confidence one would gain with scoring early and playing well.
Did you see us when Ole replaced Mourinho?

You can already see Arteta putting a stamp on arsenals style of play. Ole needs another 3 years. We are losing battles all over the pitch. Matic is too slow playing the ball forward. Lingard...well enough said about him. Get Pereira on and Greenwood and pray.

Woeful, only for those wins for Ole he would be gone.

Sadly I think he is here for another 12 months.

I really wanted him to succeed but it seems we are going nowhere.

We should cut our losses and get Poch.

This post is ridiculous. He’s been there barely a couple of weeks. Coaching has nothing to do with this performance, this is pure adrenaline and passion. Coaching hasn’t come in to it
Absolute horse manure. They've set up perfectly to deal with our one track "hit them on the break" tactics.

Boy, what I'd do to have Ferdinand and van Persie on the pitch now. :(
What I'd do to have even Ralph Hassenhutl coaching our team. Good coaches get a performance out of a side even with injuries etc.
We have one who's basically clueless when his best players are out. It's no as if he didn't know we had injuries

We need to improve on Lindelof at the back! He is great on the ball, but defensively needs to improve. Bring in KK, spend the 90m.

Trying to play counter attacking football with Lingard as the link man between midfield and attack is just pointless. He's broken down more of our attacks at this stage than Xhaka and Torreira combined.

This Arsenal team has won 1 game in 15. That's how bad they are. And we're making them look like prime City. Can't wait to hear about how good Pepe is from my Arsenal supporting mates for the next year

The one thing here is that an early goal would put the shits right up Arsenal. That was as bad a first 45 minutes as I can remember but even a 20% improvement after halftime could be enough to worry what is still a poor Arsenal side.

By your logic, Moyesy is a fecking genius as well?
But you have to recognise discernible organisational and tactical patterns in improvements. Placebo improvements don't necessarily bear the mark of tactical improvements, whereas, good coaching can be seen very clearly in this Arsenal side. Win or lose, the tactical framework is very evident.

This demonstrates that our woeful performances are down to coaching. Arsenal have looked utter cack all season, and once Arteta comes in and starts to actually implement a style of football, you see signs of improvement in the initial games and bang, they're all over us, 2-0 up at half time.

Ole quite clearly doesn't have a clue when it comes to tactics, with the wins against City and Spurs flattering him and us. I want the man to succeed with us naturally, but with each week that goes by I slide further and further toward the Ole-out camp. It's painful.
It’s not even that. Hard to see what his tactics are when he has absolutely no presence or influence on the players. The most basic requirement of the job he cannot fulfill on a consistent basis. He’s just a bloke sitting on the bench and has no business managing this club.

I can handle the errors from De Gea, I can handle the abysmal positioning from Maguire and I can even handle the shite passing from Lingard because lets face it, it's not really his fault anymore as Ole keeps picking him.

What I cannot stand however is the utterly pathetic levels of effort from Luke Shaw (or any other player for that matter). Jogging around like he's playing Sunday league with his fat pals in the park. It makes my blood boil and I would happily never see him in a United shirt again.
He probably isn't match fit, which is why ole gave him a run out in the last game

First 3 positions I would upgrade. If we're looking to save money, just play Williams. First two need to be replaced this window.

Seriously, why does Lingard start? I'm not even going to go into the statistics thing, this guy has been terrible for over a year. Where is the accountability. In SAF's days, you'd have to earn your way back.

A bit frustrated watching Shaw canter down the left, pick up the ball, cut back and pass it backwards. Must have happened half a dozen times so far.

I hope Ole has destroyed the locker room, he needs to inspire fear to those players, get them up and hyped for the coming game, and do one or two changes at half time directly. Directly.
I don’t think he’s that kind of manager. I think you need to have some kind of physical presence to be able to inspire fear. I like ole, but he’s far from intimidating.

Don't think I have seen a single ball played into Martial's feet at all. Surely they can do something as simple as that. Not that I'd expect it change much but why not use the tools that have been working?

Everyone in the first half was woeful!

Second half can’t be any worse that that, so it will be an improvement at least.

New Year...let’s not fall out :D

Some terrible performances from a few players out there. Shaw, Lingard and Maguire should be ashamed of themselves, absolute liabilities.

If he was refusing to do what Ole instructed he wouldn't be playing it's as simple as that. Either there's a lack of instruction so he doesn't bother or our coaches want to play through wide areas.

Apart from "go for the counter" our tactics are invisible.
Fred isn't doing it. McTominay didn't do it, the player Matic is playing in place of. It doesn't happen when Pogba is there. Ole has made a massive error in playing him tonight. You can just about get away with it against a team like Burnley because they bypass the midfield, but not a team that'll press like Arsenal, no way.

They’ve just outperformed us. It’s pure adrenaline and graft, along with new manager syndrome.

You can’t reverse 2 years worth of coaching in 10 days. Coaching takes months if not years. It took Pep a year to truly coach City into his style. Give your head a wobble

Yes, and it's evident for everyone else except us, OK. Right now, what matters is also the energy level, the will to win, that's what's missing in this game most and foremost. The players are chicken and we need to fix that at half time.

We will see if Ole has tactical ability if he can change things and get a result. i predicted a draw before this game.
