Jones and Lindelöf should be all gone this summer

Embarrassing. Never should United be getting schooled like this at Old Trafford. Never.

Think I'm changing my mind on keeping the manager at this point. Maybe if I was confident there would be 1 or 2 good signings made this January I'd put more faith in him but can't see that happening either.

What are the odds Ole gets a big supportive chant from the crowd at full time?
Only at this point. I lost my s*it when we lost away to Newcastle and got taken to pens against that league 2 team in this competition earlier. Ole is going nowhere, clueless

I predicted 0.5 pre game. Only Sterlings poor finishing away from that at HT.

Pep laughed whilst making todays gameplan. Played 7 midfielders and two wingbacks vs Fred, Pereira and Lingard.

Ole owned. Hopefully the match going fans don't accept this.

This goes deeper than that poor cnut and until match going fans start to show that, there’ll be no chance of, at the very least, Woody getting the hook.
I agree. However ole is a problem as well. He's clueless

Honestly, Rashford has had an improved season in terms of goal-scoring, but it can't be argued that his general play is any better than in previous years. I can't count the amount of quick passes he's simply not seen or made to teammates making short runs off him. It's as if he has to dribble it a few yards each time before he'll entertain a pass.
Goals is all that matter according to some.

Remember when people used to say one of Lindelof's strengths is that hes quick? That 2nd goal he looked like Laurent Blanc tracking a player back

I could feel sorry for Ole but nah, feck that, he gave a new contract to Jones, which is just mental on so many levels and he repaid him with this masterclass tonight.

Don't you understand that we are rebuilding? Also this is our second eleven and the youth team. Furthermore half the team is injured. If they have been playing we would have been stuffing City by at least 5-0 by half time.
Ole needs about 20 transfer windows to get it right so we need to give him the time to rebuild and win the PL, CL the FA Cup, The Carabao Cup and the EL in the same season.
feck the rebuild, we need to splash the cash on proven 30+ year olds. If they dont wanna come, tempt them with high wages!

Lingard is absolutely stealing a living here. Every attack he is involved in breaks down. The biggest glaring hole in our side.

Pereira lacks any kind of attacking intent and my god his shots are atrocious.

They aren’t good enough to be squad players let alone starting at the moment and it’s laughable at first and now the joke has gone stale.

I feel sorry for Fred who to his credit is trying to break the lines but has Lingard and Pereira to rely on for support.

The state of our midfield is very concerning without McTominay and Pogba

Can’t remember the last time we looked this hopeless, spineless and just completely void of any kind of purpose. City are a very good team, but there’s no excuse for performances like this.
Did you not see us against Watford recently or first half against Arsenal. This is the standard shite Ole serves up. All part of the longterm plan

I only ever see Ole talking and consulting with the Phil Neville clone beside him. I don't think I've even once seen him lean into Carrick for his opinion. Is Carrick even there, or is it some cardboard cutout?

Can we finally all agree that Lindelof isn't and never was a 'ball playing' defender? His technique, control, composure are all non-existent. He looks more awkward than Smalling ever did when he's got the ball at his feet, and he absolutely shits it when anyone comes within yards of him. He doesn't even make up for it with athletic abilities, he's slow and weak as piss.

Jones looks the more competent ball player next to him, and he's an absolute bomb scare n'all.

Those two chances after third goal showes how fecked we will be in second half. They are passing the ball around penalty area like in PES on begginer mode

Saying that we need to improve is a massive inderstatement, but because our squad is so low on quality, any injuries really kills us.

Maguire, Martial, Pogba, McTominay and Shaw play this, and its a different game as we saw in the league. Unfortunately, the players we've put in to replace them aren't good enough.

Having said that, tactically we've been awful. Ole needs to change things in the second half. We can't afford to concede anymore. Its embarrassing as it is!

Will the Glazers and Ed finally realise that we need to strengthen the team and get rid of dead stuff?! In this window they can get Fernandes Soumare etc
They can get decent players who can save us some dignity and honour, but those players won't be world world class

So what they'll do is hope ole flukes it till the summer so they can pretend they're chasing big money players and then at least if they get one they'll have saved a few mill from January

It's disgusting to see how much quality City have. De Bruyne is one of the best players around and imo Bernardo Silva is even better right now. Aguero or D. Silva aren't even needed to completely fecking humiliate us.

In the meanwhile we're enjoying Lingard, Pereira and Phil fecking Jones who'll get his testimonial next year

City haven't allowed us to counter at all. Seem to be playing way deeper and countering a bit themselves. Counter attack is literally our only game plan which is why we typically so better against bigger sides. How Ole could think we'd just get away with that all the time without someone like Guardiola is beyond me.

Any championship team, would put up a better fight of it that, we are that bad and its heartbreaking to watch.. it's a 2 legged tie over at half time.

Playing De Gea is a mistake. He has lost form, is chicken in one to one situation and crosses. Also he is not prepared mentally for this game and probably expected a day off sitting on the bench.
Lindelof, Jones and Lingard were poor. Signing Koulibaly and Lazio's Savic will solve United defensive and midfield problems. OGS is poor in selection and tactically poor. City will go on and score double in the second half.

You'd think it can't get worse than this but unfortunately it definitely can. A lot worse.

I would rather our coaching team were giving the lessons on passing, possession and goal getting in training rather than having the lesson being given in an actual game!
