He doesn’t know what he is doing and he can’t even accuse the players because he is the first who doesn’t know what to do

The "project" should suit Poch down to the ground too, he loves working with young squads so in many ways Ole is the perfect caretaker for him.

Maybe that is the true long term masterplan that we'll all missing.
Poch has seen what having little investment (in terms of new players but also renewing bigger contracts) on a squad can do year after year. He will not wanna experience the same shit again, I mean I wouldn't if I were in his shoes. I'd ask for guarantees and a bulletproof contract if these things aren't respected.

Even our worst players are no worse than the midtable/relegation club players that regularly humiliate them, they are however much worse coached

Everyone's had that boss that they get on really well with. He's generally a really likeable guy but the staff acknowledge that the manager doesn't have a fecking clue what he's doing however they just coast and go with it because the boss gives them an easy ride.
The likes of lingard, Pereira and many other like ole as he keeps giving them games for some strange reasons.

If only we had the right tactic we would be winning this game. It doesnt matter that we have Jones, lingard and Andreas playing. It is the tactics...

Short on midfield options , nothing much could be done here. Maybe Matic that's it.

It's difficult to see how he comes back from this. There was a thread over the summer about when was the worst moment since Ferguson left and I thought it was the summer, the year before at least there was some sense of schadenfreude in Mourinho falling apart and also there was a hope that it would give the club a chance to sort itself out (i.e. get a director of football, take the time to appoint the right manager and then nail the recruitment).

As it turned out none of that happened and we ended up with a manager whose track record was not in anyway befitting of the position being tasked with leading the weakest United squad I've ever seen. I feel really sorry about what is happening, that Ole wasn't given much chance of succeeding and despite some positives (clearing out players who weren't good enough and on too much money as well as developing some of the younger players) it's becoming clear that this long-term plan that Woodward is preaching is a crock of shit. Pochettino would potentially be an outstanding appointment, not that I believe we will make a change or that Woodward could necessarily get him, and even changing manager won't fix many of our problems but even if it's not him I don't think we can just let this drift on.

Tactically and mentality wise, he'll never be the man for the job
But he needs to keep shipping off the absolute dross we have in this squad. Rojo, Lingard, Jones, Sanchez, Young.
Absolutely inept planning and investment in horrendous players have got us where we are

Honestly not surprised that this is all happening. When Ole was managing Molde, the biggest reason for his success was the fact that the biggest team in Norway, Rosenborg, had a huge decline right before he took over Molde. Rosenborg's decline continued for a couple of years because of horrible managers and no one could challenge Molde because they had a ridiculous amount of money they could spend.

After a few years, Rosenborg got their shite together and challenged Molde again. They even won the league and cup a few times and showed what an average manager Ole really is. So Rosenborg's decline and the money available for Ole made his success. He is bang average.

That wont wash, you can have crap players and still look organised, we play with no structure. Thats on Ole not the players.
Oh, I know. But that's the line they've all come out with, bar Robin. Medieval Robin.

When will people saying "Ole isn't the problem, it's the board" realise that we have more than one fecking problem?

Ole is one of our many problems, how can anyone deny this? A better manager would do better with this exact same board and this exact same shit squad. Would he win the league? No, but we wouldn't be this much of an embarrassment.
Because every time we replace the manager it deflects from the rot at the top. It gives them another year at least, until things go to pot once again.

Also we’re not going to even attract good managers to the club at this rate. Klopp wouldn’t come here, Pep wouldn’t come here. Not just because of the rivalry, but because the club is in such a state, top managers have no reason to risk their career by coming here.

Showed his naivety by going into the season with Lingard as number 10. For whatever reason refuses to fecking drop him and will cost him his job.
He's been dropped several times this season. Ole is no idiot. Give the man som credit. I'm certain Ole wanted better players in pretty much every position. But it'll be pretty hard to sign world class players for every position.

clear intention tonight is to not give a feck about this cup and merely play and dont get injured.
The excuses for Ole is quite something else, I will give you credit for that  But unless you are paid by the club to write this crap, seek help

You only named three. And I agree they have I proved but I think the rate ilat which its happened doesn't say much. It could simply be the extra experience and natural progression. In some ways I feel Rashford should be more consistent.
I think you quoted the wrong post mate.

I don't really rate Ole whatsoever, but games like tonight aren't his fault.

Pogba's taken the season off, McTominay's injured, and Man City are walking through our midfield. The board not investing enough in a midfield over the last decade and possibly more is reaping its rewards now.

They've also employed a manager on the basis of early results, and nothing else that was evident at the time such as performance or team development.

It's not even necessarily investing money that's been lacking; sure, we could have spent more, but when every big money signing later turns out to be a raging blunder you start to think that it's expertise missing more than money.

The board are so incompetent that hopefully one day we'll be able to look and laugh, but that's feeling like a very optimistic view at this stage.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Wonder what Neville will say now.
"S-s-s-sell Pogba! Get Paul Pogba out o' that dressing room! He's disruptin' the squad and he's disruptin' the manager and the owners"

"And stop whining on social media about anything to do with United's owners - they need time, as does Ole..."

"Britain! Britain! Britain! - at least Ole looks British!"

"Sell Paul Pogba! Quickly!"

Good thing he shipped off our best defending CB to Italy.
@Leftback99 will offer excuse after excuse but Ole has overseen the complete destruction of a squad that finished second.
Most telling was that Ole got miles better results with Mourinho’s squad.
I’ve argued it for weeks, what Ole oversaw during the Summer was absolutely disgusting, pure popularism nonsense about getting rid of the wrong types and only bringing in the right types.

Ole has been like a bull in a china shop getting rid of Fellaini, Lukaku, Sanchez, Smalling, alienating Matic etc etc

All so we can end up playing fecking Andreas and Lingard most weeks, it’s not naive, it’s just downright gross negligence of the highest order.

Get him the feck out now. We’ve a shit board, we desperately need a decent manager to at least make up for that somewat, a shit board + a shit manager gives you this season my friends.

Did Leeds look this embarrassing with their ‘championship’ players?

Ralf Rangnick.
He should apologise to the fans and sack himself after the match if he had any pride.

This is shameful. I don't know how he gets out of bed in the morning.

Loving the club should be given.

I'm all honesty you can't blame Woodward for not having the team organised. Off the ball today the coordination is absolutely shocking.
I blame Woodward for being so quick to give him one of the toughest jobs in football. He doesn't have the experience for this and our fecking CEO, the man who has unlimited access to people with football knowledge saw this as our best option. Ole is doing the best he can, he simply isn't ready for this level, even less ready to rebuild a team supposed to compete on the highest level of football.

If we had a half decent CEO we wouldn't be where we are now.

I feel like I owe Moyes an apology. Didn't think anyone could do worse at United than him.

This, after clearing saying that we would wait until the summer to to hire a manager. Such a knee-jerk appointment. Shocking decision from a 'ceo' and he needs to be sacked asap.
