I've been supporting Ole all the time. But this is the end of the road. We should go after Poch right away!
Same. This is getting stupid at this point. He's been very unlucky with injuries and a squad that is absolutely bare bones, but we're not even doing stuff the players should have learned at U7 well. Passing is trash, movement is trash, vision is trash, defending is trash, marking is trash, everything all over the board is unforgivably bad. Putting Lingard on tonight was the straw that broke my back. Lingard once again showing us a masterclass in doing sweet feck all.

Ive said this since Ole got hired, I genuinely don't think it matters much who's in the managers seat as the club is rotten to the core, and until we actually make meaningful changes throughout, nothing will change on the pitch. I was hoping Ole would be the man to instill some of the good old at United, but seems the job is too big for him. I struggle to see anyone coming in and turning us into a good team overnight.

Just here to state in the midst of the meltdown that we moved the ball as well as could possibly expected in the first half. Martial should have had two, Mata should have had one. They scored with their only chance. The mental weakness which has been evident in our squads since 2013 was prevalent again and the second half was just very, very poor.

But go on and tell me about how Ole is the worst manager of all time and that this is all on him etc
The collective shittiness that has been incorporated ever since the PSG night. Our squad was not good on paper. But look at the players we had when he arrived vs. what was there on the pitch today. Shame on everyone involved.

There is no one in that team today that is worthy of a United team right now other than Greenwood. Rashford too but he didnt play.
Thats where we are.

France - can't win anything with Swedish turnips
That was depressing.
Build-up slow and ponderous. Maguire had a nightmare. Williams was poor. First half was better than than the second.
Give Jones MoM - putting the most energy about.

Seeing OT emptying out ten minutes from the end was the most depressing. We played better against Liverpool.

Ole is a joke! Team management is simply atrocious. Squad down to bear bones, playing players with injuries that put them out for extended period. Relying on a 17 years old to save the game. Buying defenders who can attack and Dan James who should be a impact player and not XI. Trusting in players who are not reliable e.g. Martial, Lingard and etc. Everything is wrong with this club. Good lucks finishing 6th.

I would never chear for us to lose, but maybe this result will force the board to finally do something. We can look at the stats and see all our possession and all our shots, but with all that, we hardly created any chances. This is where Fernandes will fit in...

As for the players, Perierra should never play again. How does he continue to get chances yet Gomes can't get a game? I would rather see us lose with youth than lose with crap players who put in crap performances week after week.

On the positive, Jones actually played well. And that's pretty much where the positives end...

De Gea still doesn't know how to play his position. The second goal is one for the highlight reel but it only happens because De Gea is way out of position. He is almost in the middle of his goal with his feet on the goal line. From that position the player is blocked from seeing the far side of the goal. De Gea should be closer to his post but standing near the edge of the 6. Then the angle is cut off and it's straight at him. Horrible positioning on that one which is too bad because he was doing really well with controling his area tonight by coming out for crosses and finding himself as a sweeper keeper clearing some balls around the 18. But that goal just bothers me so much. It's the basics of the game. I'm done with him. Please start Romero next game...

Aiming 100% of the hate on Woodward, the owners and whoever else is related to that side of the business. Can't hate on Ole too much. He's probably fully average at best as a manager, but regardless he has his hands tied behind his back and is in charge of a team who's owners don't give a single feck about on field performances.

Like was anyone actually surprised that we lost? This is going to be our season until we get Pogba/Rashford back. We don't have players to be anything other than a flip of a coin performance. It's a mid table starting 11 with only youth players for depth, what is left of us anyway.

Goodbye Ole. So long. Farewell. You won't be missed as manager.

Hopefully Woodward joins you in the football management bin.

Pissed off but not overly surprised about it. We should have taken a few of those chances in the first half and it would've been a different game but our complete inability to respond once they went 1 and then 2 ahead is depressing.

Can we just delete the club and hit reset? Pathetic from top to bottom. Martial and Mata missing chances. Maguire letting another header go by. Those incredible subs by Ole. The lack of fight shown by our players. I'm honestly considering taking a break from football if we don't sack this clown. Both Woodward and Ole need to go.

After Chelsea dropped points yesterday this was the most predictable result in the world. Our squad is spineless and shit themselves whenever the top 4 gets within their grasp. Ole and Ed has to take the blame though as well though. It was madness not to replace Lukaku and Sanchez in the summer, and their dragging their feet in signing anyone this month has probably cost us points as well.

That was very poor. Their first half goal was against the run of play in a half in which we were actually alright. That second half was shocking though. Not enough quality or fight. Never seven threatened to get back in the game and of course conceded again in the process. Wan Bissaka was probably our best player but that was mainly in the first half. Mata disappointed after recent good form. Perreira was awful. James and Martial were not very significant at all in this game. Don't blame the stadium for clearing out after such a result and seems there were boos at the end too.

Yet another opportunity to catch up with the top 4 thrown away. It happens time and again. Only thing saving us from dropping a position is the fact Wolves are playing Liverpool ffs.

Didn't deserve to lose. Burnley got lucky.

We were also a long long way from deserving to win. Really awful bunch of players. The saddest thing, for me, was that they were trying. Just so damn toothless.

Hard to defend that. Just passing back to Fred and Matic when we were near their box.

Worried for Ole now. No attacking nous to our play. It takes Liverpool or City three passes to rip teams open. We were making twenty passes back and forth and side to side.

Dan James was poor. Just take your man on. Andreas was terrible. Himself and Lingard need to be shipped.

Brandon Williams looked poor tonight lads. Again mainly passing it back all the time.

Sadly the result is not a shock. We looked light weight against a big robust and hard working Burnley (shit) side. It stems from mistakes in the summer. Starting the season with only 2 recognised strikers, who were bound to get injured. Not replacing crucial midfield positions and relying on sub-standard players to over them so that a squad player of the previous year, McT becomes so crucial to the team.
Letting Smalling and Sanchez go out on loan, Fellani Herrera and Lukaku not replaced. Etc etc... piss poor management of the club form top to bottom and trusting a very inexperienced manager at this level..
Now fannying about over transfers because they dont want to spend too much money - when its so obvious thatwe desperately need too.

if we dont bring in a quality striker and at least one midfield playmaker in the next 9 days then we will fall away fast without Rashford.

Pretty much this.. These kind of games happened during the SAF reign as well.

I'm a supporter but its becoming very, very, very difficult. I live on optimism but I can't find that any more. Need lots of changes and still nothing despite the fact the market closes in a week.

I thought we had reached our lowest level. But this game certainly takes the price as the worst piece of garbage I've ever seen.

Burnley came to Old Trafford, completely nullified us, scored 2 goals, and went home with a clean sheet. They completely deserved it too.

Feck it i'm taking up smoking again.

I get the feeling the players are trying, but we have so little quality in our squad. The few players we have with a bit of quality are injured.

coaching staff should still be able to do better than this. If we are talking to Poch about the job, maybe now is a good time to take over?
