Mr Dalglish speaks of agendas...despite the presence of twenty-billion Liverpool people in the media:

Dalglish slams ‘out of order’ Liverpool null and void coronavirus talk

“What must definitely not happen is for the 2019-20 campaign to be declared null and void. That would not be fair, and any person with football at heart would admit that would be totally out of order.

In Scotland, would it be fair to say to the Premiership leaders, Celtic, that all of their efforts in the past nine months over 30 games count for nothing? The same would apply to Dundee United in the Championship.

Would any person without an agenda really think it would be the most-sensible outcome to deny Liverpool their chance of winning the title after doing fantastically well in their 29 league games so far to build up a 25-point lead over Manchester City with nine games remaining? Of course not. Nobody can allow the hard work to count for nothing. So let’s do away with any of this talk, and try to use our time and energy wisely.

Like the rest of the us, I have no idea when the world will settle down and there will be some kind of normality back to our daily routines. But the authorities need to show patience and strong leadership. It could well be football is closed down for four weeks, and we resume in the middle of April, or towards the end of that month. There needs to be guidance and instruction on when competitive football will resume.”

Does anyone take Dalgliesh seriously? For the younger generation, he’s a bumbling fool, a dinosaur of a manager and a bloke who wore a t shirt supporting a racist. He’s tainted his ‘legacy’ and is just ridiculously biased, even when compared to fellow ex-Liverpool players.

I take piers Morgan more seriously than King Kenny!

More from 'king Kenny:

"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbour? if you said to Adolf 'Well, that's your lot, mate - f*ck off back to your bunker', would it be fair? He was winning World War 2 by a bloody mile, so who's got the right to deny him his hard-earned victory? And that's just like Liverpool Football Club's situation - only biased people would cruelly snatch away our their glory; and millions of Liverpool fans neutrals agree with me."

Is Kenny still clinging to the ridiculous hope that football can get underway again next month? Bless. Poor bloke is not in touch with reality.

we knew that when he paid £35m for Andy Carroll!

Although it actually cost them minus £15m or something due to selling Torres.

Unfortunately he’s going to be remembered as a bit of a joke outside of hardcore ‘pool fans.

All this talk of fairness from a side who've lost 4 of their last 5 games?

At that rate they'd need 10 games to secure the league for sure and there were only 9 remaining? How can anybody in good conscience claim they deserve to be handed anything?

Either hard of thinking or he's totally not woken up to the scale of this problem.

May be mid april or end of the month! Talk about underestimating it!

Of course he's not in touch with reality; he's a pampered and kowtowed-to-into-ruination ex-top flight footy player and 'living Anfield oracle' or however they deify him in the wastelands.

Selfish . Void it for the sake of literally every single other UK club. Dalglish and Lawrenson need to shut the fvck up, people are dying you selfish pricks. At best you’ll get a trophy which means the square root of fvck all to mollify your simpering self pitying needs. Just basically fvck off with your selfishness.

If you’re as good as you say you are you will walk it next season and then it won’t matter (0000000s of deaths not withstanding).

Horrible, horrible club

Ever since the players rocked up to an FA Cup Final in white suits they’ve set the bar at an incredibly high level.

They are fine, found this thread "Liverpool don't win PL trophy this season"
... what do you do? Would it affect you?
If you go, would you still go? If you watch on TV, would you still watch on TV?
Would it not affect you at all? Would you be angry at Football, Other Clubs, The Media?
I must admit that it's something that I've been thinking about quite a lot of late (As well, of course, other things - but it's 'nice' to think of anything but the things happening in the world right now!)
So... Anyone else thinking about it and wondering how it'll affect them?
Will the Kop be louder, angrier, more determined than ever and screaming for everything?
I've also been wondering if after this, the club doesn't get near it again and that was our one chance
I wouldn't go the game or watch on TV for all the time that we were part of the PL.
I could imagine our owners telling the PL to shove the competition up their arse and look for an opportunity to create a new league.
Not that I think this is even an option - we will win the league - it's just a matter of 'when
Yeh talkshite doing their Aprils fools joke and so many Liverpool fans got sucked in, phoning in arguing about Liverpool being crowned half champions, getting a smaller trophy...… and having 18.5 titles written in the record books....
We stick a 19 on the board at Melwood, we have a presentation with one of the old trophies next time Anfield’s full, and we go out and win no.20 in a year’s time. Can’t believe the premise of this thread - you don’t get given the title, you go out and take it. We did that long ago
I'll think about that when we cross that bridge
Have you not seen the morning papers? Season cancellation will be announced this morning - they're all leading with it.
Not sure if you're fishing
He's not.
The authorities are clearly leaking their intention to void.
It's done. At least we won the world club cup. Most important of them all
