Really?
I'd have Prosinecki, Boban and Suker at the same level as him.

So tough to split between him and Okocha, but for me, while Okocha was one of the most gifted of his generation, he was a million miles away from ever being amongst the ‘best’, and when it was all said and done - had a fairly average career all things considered.

He'd do well to even make the starting XI.
I know it's incredibly early but the way things are going you reckon Odegaard will be it eventually barring injuries? Also do Norwegians rate Ajer?

Cha boom was the greatest Korean footballer imo. He and Okudera basically opened the door for Asian players in Europe.
If Son wins a major title or two, he can overtake Cha as the greatest Korean footballer.

It's going to be tight between Ødegaard and Haaland. History seems to favour goal scorers so I'm going to say Haaland will have the bigger impact (assuming both live up to their potential).

Ajer was captaining his elite division team when he was 16 and he's been highly rated ever since. Media have been overhyping him a fair bit though saying he could go down the VVD route etc.

The likes of Messi and Giggs are interesting because neither would have a genuine claim at the #1 spot if there's a heavy emphasis on national team performance in the Best player ever in the history of many countries classification. Maradona is the clear-cut best player for Argentina ahead of Messi and Di Stéfano (Barcelona/Madrid legends first and foremost and would probably trail even Passarella for the Albiceleste), and Bale/Charles are greater legends of the Welsh national team as Giggs reportedly prioritized United over Wales and had an icy relationship with some within the national setup. Charles was obviously magnificent and very well regarded — took Wales to the 1958 World Cup quarter-finals, won the British International Championship and was nominated their Player of the Century, but Bale has a robust resumé too:

• Top scorer, ahead of Rush.
• Played a big role in Wales' first major international tournament foray since the aforementioned World Cup, and ended up as the top scorer for the semi-finalists...

• Has again played an instrumental role in guiding Wales to the European Championship via Group E qualifiers.

That's a fair assessment can't argue with it.

That's fair enough, I even specified that Giggs gets it because of my affiliation to United. Bale was probably on course to overcome Giggs even on a club level, but injuries and golf put a stop to that. Still, national team-wise, there's no comparison between the two.

Nope!

P.S. Quite a few can match/beat France's trio (or quartet if we include Kopa):

Brazil: Pelé, Ronaldo, Garrincha, Zico, Romário, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo
Netherlands: Cruyff, Van Basten, Rijkaard, Gullit, Neeskens
Germany: Beckenbauer, Müller, Matthäus, Rummenigge, Breitner, Seeler
Portugal: Cristiano, Eusébio, Figo
Argentina: Maradona, Messi, Di Stéfano, Passarella
Italy: Maldini, Baresi, Meazza, Baggio, Facchetti, Scirea

Georgia - Kakha Kaladze
I'd probably go with either one of Kipiani or Chivadze — they had more magic, although Kaladze is the only one who had managed to achieve success at European top-club.
