NBC commentator trying to claim that was a poor call and not a pen. The Liverpool love is literally blinding them they can't see them do any wrong.

De Bruyne's 3rd pen post lockdown? Getting quite good at them should've been their taker all along.

Gomez is shocking. The most overhyped centre-back in the league.
I think he's quality... Should be starting for England alongside Maguire without a doubt.

So sign me up for overhyping!

Dumb defending though... But that's a necessary trait for an England defender. We should be encouraged.

Are City all that anymore? I don't think they've adequately replaced the players that helped them reach the top like Silva, Aguero, Kompany, Toure etc. Their current line up:

Ederson, Walker, Laporte, Garcia, Mendy, KdB, Rodri, Gundogan, Foden, Jesus, Sterling.

Maybe you can haggle a bit here but I think the bolded players are real quality and the rest are at the level of any top four side. I don't think they're that far away from United / Chelsea / Spurs tbh.

Nah, I’m boy having it. He’s good but not at the level you lot proclaim him to be.

Surprise, surprise!
It's normal to think your players are good when they've won the European Cup and the Premier League in the space of two seasons though right?

Poor play from Gomez, I think Gary hit the nail on the head when he talked about a defender's ego sometimes dragging them into trouble against a tricky attacker.

Could be some goals in this game, City is really hit and miss now and Liverpool is not fully switched on.

1. What a Pass

2. Jesus is a bit crap isn't he? One of those players that looks way better then he is because of who he plays for

I’m not denying he’s good. He is. I’m just highlighting that I think he’s overrated.
I'm of the opinion that he's one of the better CB's in the league.

I'd love to see him and Maguire for England.

No... all liverpool players are the best in their position in the league. They should all be in the team of the season, every season, from now until the end of time. ;)

I agree. Think even Ederson and Sterling under a different manager would drop in quality quite a bit.

Both of these teams are throwing caution to the wind, I know we only have one goal from a penalty but this is one of the most open games I've ever witnessed

At first I thought Sterling fecked up that touch... But its actually a brilliant touch. Fair play.
