Bailly

Misses the header and then does an overhead kick.

If he can replace Lindelof that would fun. Probably the same amount of missed headers but we'd get two footed tackles, circus acrobatic tackling and all that other crazy fun.
Injury free with a run of games, Bailly would do better alongside Maguire imo. It’s too much to as I know.

"I'm very happy to be back, it’s been a very long time in the early stages of my career," Fosu-Mensah told MEN Sport about his return from injury.

"It's the first time I’ve been injured, I had shoulder injuries and out for one or two weeks and this was a ligament injury that took me out for eight months. It was mentally hard, I had good people around me. I had people in the time like Marcos (Rojo) who had the same injury as me before and people outside of the club who have had the same injury before who I have spoken to. Mentally it was tough but I had good people around me to keep me strong."
"I'm happy I used to play there (midfield) for the 21s before," he said. "Most of the time I have been playing centre back or right back but midfield I can play and the coaches they work with me to make me know the position better."

"I’m always comfortable about pushing back into the (first) team but with this injury you have to be cautious and take it step by step," he said. "We are working hard, the coaches, the fitness coaches, the physios, they know what to do and when is the best time for me to play, they know everything about this.

"They are obviously in communication with me, I have to tell them how I feel and what they think and together we come to a decision. We have to take it step by step but I’m happy to be back out on the pitch again."

Looking forward to seeing him getting chances at DM. As others have said, he's got the tools.

What has happened to Timbo?
He came back from his injury and then performed pretty well in the u23s and now he has gone off the radar.

Hard imagine either TFM or Garner would be worse than Periera in midfield. Needs to at least be given a chance.

Was hoping he would have made more of an impact.

Looks to have the basics and on top of that, from interviews he seems to have a top mentality.

Loan spells haven't really helped him push on as expected, but loans are often hit and miss

I always liked him when coming through. Hope he gets a chance and he can prove himself.

TFM needs to move on for his own good, it seems pretty clear that he isn't going to be given chances to improve here (nor does he seem good to be honest, for me), so going to play regularly elsewhere is what he needs.

I know I'm contributing to the problem here, but I'm impressed a Player Performance Thread about a player who hasn't played a single game by April has 6 pages! Especially when it's not exactly like he's some cornerstone of the team that we are awaiting the return of.

Obviously a wise decision in light of the current situation. He's been given a fair chance as well, which is nice to see for players around the squad.

Martial's thread has 134 pages. So 6 seems about right really. It's a very active forum.

Think he could be a decent utility player to have in the squad. Not great at one thing, but useful in different areas when we need him, eg DM, RB, CB, LB?

I dont know what his right position is. I always thought it would be DM, but guess not. Hes only 22 so its not like we should write him off.

Feck me, Dalot must be out the door if he's playing before him.

Over 3 years passed, are you sure?
He went on loan for 2 years & hasn’t played this year. It’s legit.

His last game ironically was against Palace. The game when we played the kids & Harrop scored. Few days before the EL final with Ajax

A good performance from him here could rescue his United career.

Interesting. Remember when Jose tried to convince us Dalot was one of the best young defenders in Europe.

No he wasn’t, virtually all Crystal Palace fans considered him decent, some good games and some bad. AWB just came through and was better.
Also this, he got off to a decent start under awful circumstances with a quick manger change early that season, was unlucky to get injured during a good run of form.

Hmm hasn’t played in years for us and will be up against Zaha down his side....not sure about this. Is he even a LB?
