Rashford, de Gea and Lindelof did well.
Pogba and Bruno sloppy, but still showed their class, as did Matic when he came on.

Nervy as feck this game. Now rest them all until West Ham.

Survived Crystanbul. Plenty of drama but you need to grind out these games

Really poor tonight. Our problem was allowing Palace the time to dominate possession and positive possession too.

It was only in the 70th minute did we get possession of the ball and move the ball quickly like we've seen in previous matches, and then create the 2nd goal.

Going forward, pressing from midfield in our own half is what will stop opposition like palace, Southampton etc... they simply dont have the quality to move the ball quickly in a positive way. We do and we can't play our football without the ball.

Tiredness might be a problem currently and pressing isn't great when your knackered but when you have the ball you can dictate play with negative possession (pass pass pass) or you can move forward with positive possession and create when there is an opportunity. Pogba needs to release the ball quicker and simpler, Mctominays positional awareness isnt great as the holding player, and when Bruno is your free spirit in the hole, you need the midfielders to just be better at keeping the ball and keeping things ticking over. Fred might have been a better option tonight than Mctominay and could be going forward when Matic isnt available or has been rested.

3 very good points. That is typically the best I've seen Palace this season.

Incredibly fortunate about the penalty and offside decisions. Good interplay on both goals, but a rather pedestrian game as a whole. On to the cup!

Two fantastic goals from United but VAR was wearing a red shirt tonight! Still enjoy it, your run goes on

Brought the match under control after Matic came on. Sums up the depth and option available to the manager.

Crucial win in a very tough period for us. Maybe the performance was poor but the results are the most important thing currently.

Win the next 2 by any possible means and enjoy a CL spot.

Job done. Wasn’t pretty at times but I couldn’t care less. 3 points was a must tonight and mission accomplished.

De Gea was my MOTM

Good result, boys ground it out and that is a plus considering what happened on Monday.

Martial has been very good. Rashford played very well. Matic is irreplaceable in this system, he was immense when he came in.

Big result that. If West Ham win tomorrow, it should take the pressure off their game with us (they're shite anyway, but every little helps)

A win is a win is a win. Bad performance tonight. At this stage I’d rest the whole first team against Chelsea.

But Zaha, he really fecking hates us doesn’t he?

Palace played well actually, credit to them. Vital 3 points for us though and it's still in our hands.

A win is just what we needed. Thought we looked better and better with each minute, and things got quite comfortable in the end.

Palace could easily have scored once our twice but now it feels like we deserved that victory. I think our players needed this win.
