Has Martial bulked up a bit? Esp. since the break, he has been dominating defenders even with his back to the goal. Its becoming more and more clear with every match that he can properly lead the line for us.

You want to know something, he really isnt doing anything different than what he was these past few years. The only difference is we have better players around him who can get him more involved. Its how you get the best out of your star players.

Undecided between him and rashford for MOTM.
Yup pretty much this, but for some reason you have people all of a sudden prasing him for the things he's been doing since he came here. For those that watch the game more closely he is always making those sprints behind the defense but like in the past, our MF's aren't sending the ball.

Say it again! It was so annoying commentators acting like he’s doing things he wouldn’t do before. Paigons.
Bro! There is nothing im seeing different that I haven't seen before. Maybe he seems more determined because he has less frustrating players around him.

He did that on his debut. Don’t you remember LVG’s first analysis of him.

Turning into an immense player, so spectacular to watch. all skills and so much strength in all aspects of his game. Almost a miracle we are the ones benefiting from his growth.

Even when he just recieves the ball on a set up defense you immediately have a feeling something dangerous could happen.

I missed that feeling with United number 9 so much. His connection with Rashford just adds up to all the joy.

Not sure what's changed in his mentality but he's playing like a world class striker and it's a joy to see. Probably helps having a player like Bruno that can link up and create.

If we can get a RW that can run at defenders like Sancho our front line will become genuinely scary and a rival to any other big team.

Martial has always assisted Rashford. Rashford has started passing more to him this season because he is maturing. Realizing that winning comes before the selfish shots. They are both great players for us.
You are reading too much there.

One of the things I enjoy most about his game is how quickly he changes the tempo of our attacks with his link up play and sharp turns. He catches defenders off guard so many times with clever touches and movement

He's had a great season.

He was good pre-lockdown with a few poor games here and there.

Post lock-down, he's been a monster.

He’s a proper bloke out there at the moment. Knocking bigger men to the ground and scoring for fun.

For the last couple of games, he’s been incredible. On his day he’s easily one of the best strikers in the league. Has so much technical ability and strenght, pretty good finisher also, he’s a lethal player if he can be this sharp consistently.

Changing my opinion on him. In a terrible back to goal side he's awful and sluggish. When he's in a side wanting to create and score he's lethal. Theres a world class player in there bursting out.

Unreal player. Absolutely delighted for him that he's having a great season. Fulfilling his potential.

So good these days.
How long is it going to be "these days" though. He's been consistently scoring and assisting since pre lockdown. He was already on form since we got Bruno and after lockdown he took it up a notch. This isn't "these days". This is Martial. A consistent Martial.

What has changed? A striker actually played as a striker.

I was critical of his lack of movement and mentality in the past but he's really upped it levels. I'm on board. He's fantastic.

Cuntinho wanted to replace him with fecking Perisic
Half the caf wanted to believe the 'winner' when Martial fans told them they had no foresight and eye for talent. We've won. Also shocking that they believed in that dinosaur of a manager.

We still need to look out for the good old cliches though once he doesn't score for a game or two or when a scapegoat is needed after an important game going wrong.

Martial is doing everything. Scoring, assisting, key passes, holding the ball, bringing up teammates in, dropping deep to help in the build up, press, hustle, dribble and some more. This is what a modern Cf is about, not just scoring but being a baller in general

Funny thing, he's still sulking as ever, yet we don't hear about that at all nowadays from those that used to bring that up as a main argument against him.

He was amazing tonight. Love the little flicks he makes to open up space in front of the back line.

Still annoys me that José essentially wasted 3 years of his career.

We'd have had this player years ago if not for him. Thank God Ed blocked his sale.

It’s a full time job but hey.. they didn’t rate CR7 for ages too.

And you know what the worst part was he had all the attributes to be successful Mourinho CF as well much more suited for that role than Lukaku .

Totally. He's the perfect player to have in the middle of your attack. Defenders will always be guessing. He can hold it up, can turn and run, play one two's all around him and is a deadly finisher.

Said it last game too, he has been our best player since the restart. Every thing was there on the locker just needed some one to trust him and put him on the right position on the pitch. He finally got that this season and the result is there. On Mourhino first season he started slowly with all the off field issue but was picking form towards late December but never got a run of games and trust. Mourhino 2nd season he started on the bench won the battle with Rashford for the Left wing spot and was on like 11 goals before we signed Sanchez and he was moved to the right and than benched. Last season he was saving Jose arse and kept him on job few games longer than he deserved to be. Jose was cnut to him and still is when he was pointing towards Martial when press asked about Kane when he was absolutely dog shit that game. 2 years was wasted of his development by this buffoon who has no idea how to setup an attack nor any clue about developing young player.
