It will be fun watching him lose his shit when Liverpool's luck runs out next season. We haven't seen enough of that over the past couple of years.

To be fair the reporter told him he should sign David Luiz to shore up his defence and he responded saying hes signed a new contract. I hate Klopp but nothing really to see here
Yeah that's fair enough. Why's the reporter telling him to sign Luiz?

I hope he uses the warning signs here as a wake up call. He’s been pretty good at evolving our play into a winning formula over the years and recognising when we need to make a change.

If we go into next season as we are I don’t think we’ll be close to City.

“If somebody would have said: ‘You can become champion in any country this year and you can decide which team you want to be in to have it very special,’ I think the choice would have been Liverpool. Because it was the one that everybody wants to be part of, and we are lucky enough to be part of this. I appreciate that a lot, to be honest, that it’s a really big one. Not that other championships will be forgotten by supporters but, this one, I think nobody will ever forget. It’s not possible. That makes this pretty special.”

“It was for sure the most exceptional and successful year of my career,” he said. “Being champion of Europe, England and the world doesn’t happen too often. I think it makes sense that we take a picture with all four trophies [at a later date] because I don’t think there are a lot of pictures in existence where a club has all four of these trophies. We will do that 100% and rightly so.”

---

His obsession with everything he/Liverpool does being extra special is really fecking hilarious!

He suits those self-obsessed wankers to a tee and feeds them garbage they want to hear on a daily basis.

No other manager in world football possesses the same look-at-me sychophantism as Klopp.

Is the Club World Cup suddenly a thing now? I've seen it mentioned a feck load in the past year (always by Liverpool fans, obviously). I never remember who we beat back in 2008. Some team called LDU Quito, apparently? Load of pish!

They're only still holding the 'Champions' League because of the pandemic

Winning a title* is a decent achievement, we'll see can he win a real Title next year

With the top 4, european spots, EL, CL, FA Cup and relegation survival all still undecided, not a single person in the world bar Pool fans gives a shit about their title win, especially since they’ve blown any possible records.

Whenever people are asked about this title in 10 years, their reply will genuinely always be “oh, the covid one”. I thought it would be painful when they finally did it, but honestly, I couldn’t care less now and have already forgotten about it as it is undeniably tainted.

Also pictures,

It's not four trophies but I think it will do. Also won in a single season.

He's overshooting it massively but they lap it up. Bit of self-awareness wouldn't go amiss.

One of my Liverpool supporting mates is doing that as well! 'Champions of England, Champions of Europe, (club) World Cup Champions'. A bit bloody disingenuous!

And the media has lapped that shit up since his arrival. All those cringe discussions this season where they were being labelled the best ever and all that nonsense really look idiotic now. They are champions that's it, pretty much the same could be said about Leicester couple of years back. But that story had a bit of a Cinderella fairytale feeling about it and a really well liked and nice Italian running the show. Never has any team had as much hype surrounding it at any time ever. The words from the great Chuck D have never been more appropriate as to this Liverpool team.. Don't believe the hype..

In fairness, they would have still won the PL before the CL final if there was no pandemic.

Also, trying to add an asterisk to their title is the type of thing that opposition fans were being mocked for for years on here. They had it wrapped up before the pandemic and you know that.

The asterisk thing is a bit of fun (and also deadly serious). Rival fans will always try and minimise the other's achievements. That's part of the 'banter' of football!

I'm convinced he has some sort of speech advisor either at the club or on his own. The way he words everything is absolutely perfect for whipping the scouse support into a frenzy.

He failed to explain what makes this particular league title win any more special than a 150-odd that preceded it. I would have thought the opposite true given the regular top-six sides were in a state of transition this season, not to mention the whole coronavirus business. Lack of self-awareness much, Mr Klopp?

And, more importantly, why is he exposing his formerly yellow, now surgically whitened teeth to the camera?

Great manager but a massive, massive bellend.
Klopp is probably one of the most principled and sound people around (forget management). People who make sweeping judgements like this make me laugh. He is a top bloke who has passion for his team. It is the same for fans that hate on Alex Ferguson. His social values are to be admired. Klopp is very similar to him in that sense. Not sure you'd refer to Ferguson as a bellend.

Would this be the same klopp whose team has been threatened with action for tapping other team's players? A truly principled person isn't he.

What social values? Oh and unless you had beer with him you don't know if he's a sound bloke. I judge him by the stuff he spots to the media and it's cringe worthy to say the least.
Comparisons with Fergie are strange.
