They can both play the 10 role,but aside from that Graelish plays more to the forward left while VdB can play more centrally like Pogba does.
They also have quite different style of play.
They say he will be announced this coming week, irrespective of CL.

How i tend to take "ITK's" is that it's a fun read, almost like a fiction book we can all talk about, but unless we start to hear real journo's picking up the story they shouldn't be believed.

Do individual ITKs tend to report on players that are mainly represented by the same agent?

It is not the ITK’s that created the subreddit, but people claiming to be in touch with them.
A reason behind it could be to counter all the bullshit journo reporting about subpar players that 50% of the fanbase rage at the club for.

Yeah I would see it as VDB to cover Pogba and Grealish to cover Bruno. Determined not to get false hopes up on this one though.
Looks like the ITKs are doubling down on Sancho, Grealish, VDB, and a CB (likely Upamecano). One of Grealish or VDB if they go for Rice. Will see what happens and how the result tomorrow affects that.
Well to be fair, it's Mitten vs. Falk so it's not just some "random dudes on Reddit". Mitten has gotten a lot of things wrong over the years but I've always suspected it's intentional. This. Also a few years ago he was with the preseason squad or something and kept uploading videos with transfers news for us. Not one of his predictions came true. Maybe he is a good journalist but when it comes to transfers I won’t even give me a tier and rate him less than Tancredi.
To be fair to Mitten, he recently said that he spoke to Hererra around that time and that was his source, he said that he's almost certain Hererra didn't have any idea how much money his agent was asking from United which is why he was confident he wasn't going to PSG. Obviously the bloke close to his agent knew more than the bloke himself.
He's also said he get's told transfer news all the time from solid sources but a lot of them don't come off so he just doesn't bother reporting them anymore as it's not worth the grief when they don't. You can't really question his sources, it's the reliability of the information he's received that should be questioned.

No one really knows how legit or not the sources of these ITK are but there are bound to be bullshitters. At the same time, it's not out of the realms of possibility that some has family or a friend working at the media department or marketing or something that get briefed or whatever.

It's almost like during their guess work, they forgot to factor in the possibility that Sancho might take a holiday, putting everything on hold until he returns.

Also, marketing staff don't get paid a very high wage. I doubt it's much higher if at all, than it would be for any other company. Scouts are different but scouts will talk to family and friends. It's natural. It will happen. Not all the time but it definitely happens.

I didn't know. But my point is, with the shortened season break and euro competition, holidays won't be as long. Players will be having shortened breaks and also deals could have been wrapped up before hand.
