Boils down to the simple fact that even with a knackered team thin on top quality, if we can't beat a very out of sorts and injury ridden Leicester team we've got no right to be annoyed, we simply don't deserve to be in the CL, we're simply not good enough if thats the case.
The players and the manager won't have any right to be annoyed - it will be entirely their fault. The fans most certainly will have a right, though!

Surely the match with leicester is completely in our favour, Leicester are missing 3 of their first team back 4 players plus maddison, they may be in two minds about going for the win because they may only need a point themselves to still qualify and if they do decide to attack then that is perfect for us against a poor and weakened Leicester defence.

They will be going for the win, they clearly need to win more than we do.

In theory you might be right about the defence but they looked pretty solid last time out.

Could all go pear shaped if we get a silly early red or De Gea forgets his gloves again, so as a pessimist with a lot of Leicester fans as mates from my uni days I'm absolutely bricking this.

Glad I'm not the only one shitting it  I'll be delighted if we make top 4, gives us a financial boost in the corona window and the top level of football to test ourselves in

Wolves are decent, but id like to think we can manage to get a single point. I get the criticism of our defence and its justified. But you could argue the same in our favour, what if Wolves cant handle our attack? Long time ago now but we have already stuck 5 past them at Molineux.
Normally I'd put you strong favourites, but there's a couple of small reasons for optimism (from a United perspective). The main one is that Wolves have played 2 fewer games since the restart, have had a full week off since their last home game, and that was a total stroll against Palace. You guys have had two tough games in a week, the most recent of which may have been a bit deflating. Plus Wolves are decent away from home, only Liverpool have conceded fewer goals on the road and only 4 teams have a better away record in the division. Chelsea are still favourites for the top 4 given that a draw is enough, but Wolves could push you pretty hard.

Best case scenario, both United and Chelsea are 2-0 up at HT.

I don't think my nerves could survive it if we got to the 75th min and Leicester were 1-0 up and our game was still 0-0.

Think our guys get at least a point. The 3 and half days off will do. Go back to the 11 that got us here. Need CBs to be immense.

I can’t call it either way. You cannot underestimate the fitness issue and I think it may prove crucial.
When you are tired you make basic errors and your brain just goes slower.
We used to do simple drills in training like someone throwing a ball to you and you volley it back into their arms, do that for 2 minutes then we’d do 2 minutes of intense running and repeat the drill. It was always significantly worse......
It is basically a cup final so hopefully we just go full throttle for 60 minutes and can then bring on some fresh legs to shore it up.
We’ll know in the first 10 minutes what the game is likely to be like. Just hope we are on it and we don’t see slow casual passing and people walking around.
Arsehole is going to be twitching..........

You guys are alright, difficult game but at home you’d have to fancy yourselves.
Crowdless home games aren't really the same plus Wolves are a good side who excel in all the areas we've struggled against all season.
We might just have to rely on you guys doing us a favor against a depleted Leicester.

I’ll take this! Be delighted if we’re both celebrating tomorrow.

I think Wolves and have befitted greatly from a weak league (beyond the top 2). If your team turns up you'll at least get a draw.

I'll take that too, no disrespect to Leicester and they'll deserve it if they get in, but it'll bode better for the outlook of the PL if both United and Chelsea get CL.

Every time when we had a chance this season we haven't turned up. So I am not getting my hopes up.

I'm definitely getting my hopes up. I was sceptical before because it was very hard to visualise the table with us in top 4 since we haven't been there since September but now we are currently third. So it's not so hard to see us staying there

I think we can all agree that Liverpool cannot win it again
Maybe a ‘feck Liverpool and Leeds’ thread will be a safe haven for the rest of us. If we shit on them long and hard enough one will finish 8th and the other relegated(don't care who gets what)

The hope is Wolves turn in the performance of a lifetime so it doesn't matter what happens in our game.

The closer the game gets the more nervous I'm getting.

On a positive note the extra days rest could be huge for us, that combined with it being the last game should hopefully see our fitness issues take a bit longer to affect us.

The only thing that'll calm my nerves is alcohol and United being 2-0 up inside 10 mins.

Not confident in Wolves beating Chelsea and not convinced Europa prize will be as big as a draw for them with so many games crammed in this and next year with covid, lack of crowds and perhaps difficult traveling. At best a draw.

If we lose at Leicester and Chelsea and Wolves draw we're out despite Ole and others saying a draw or win changes nothing against West Ham. I hope with a day more rest than before we can at least not show the tiredness so much and put a decent showing. We really should've rested the players for the FA Cup semi-final.

While Leicester has some players missing, it's just one game from CL football, they can put all the effort in to salvage a poor run and now have nothing to lose. The pressure is much more on United players to secure CL football, we don't like pressing ie fouling and seem weak mentally and always surrender possession near the end of games and throw on defenders and midfielders and take off our outlets to secure a point or narrow win and invite a ton of pressure and lose out. For once can we have the gonads to finish the game off properly?

I worry about Vardy and our Poppadom hands in the goal. it could easily go for us or against.

At least we have been scoring well lately and can pull 2-3 goals in quick succession. I trust Martial, Bruno and Mason to get the job done.

When you look at it, we have the most favourable situation out of us, Leicester and chelsea to clinch a top 4 spot, does anybody here envy the scenario Leicester find themselves in on the last day of the season? and who here would swap having to face wolves to get a result instead of an out of form leicester side missing about 4 first team players?

I think Wolves might get a point but don't think they will win so we can't afford to lose.

Don't agree with that mate, I'd not swap our scenarios. I'd much rather need a draw at home vs. Wolves than away at Leicester who have everything to play for, depleted or not.

A Leicester team who lost to Bournemouth and Spurs in the last week? Really?

Nah, with the way Chelsea's defence is, they are probably good for 3 goals.
You must be on a wind up with Chelsea in this thread. Either that or you seriously dislike us. This is almost a win win for both sides. If Utd pick up the 3 pts which is what they'll go for. We both qualify. If we can manage a draw we qualify. There was i think 9 possible outcomes, we qualified in 7. Chances are decent

Yeah, would much rather the other team have to cope with the awkwardness of travel in the age of COVID. I know home advantage has been diminished to some extent but not completely - it's still a factor especially when compounded with a fatigued side. If you were hosting Leicester then yeah fair enough I'd rather that fixture. Just my opinion though.

A little but only because it is based on fact. In Kepa Chelsea have a GK who saves about 53% of shots on target, Chelsea cannot defend against the counter (with Wolves being able to do this pretty well), Chelsea cannot defend set pieces with Wolves having Neves and Moutinho taking them and some massive lads to attack the ball.

Maybe Chelsea will get three as well, but they are going to concede at least three imo.

Chelsea have scored or conceded 3 goals in all of their matches (except Norwich) since they've got in Three as their shirt sponsor. Hope it's Wolves scoring three past them tomorrow

Very confident. Our forward line will have a field day against their backs especially since they need to come as us for the win.

Tomorrow's line-ups are out a day early apparently. We stand a good chance of winning this one I think

Of the 3 teams vying for top 4, utd are the form team since lock down , but looking at last 3 matches, they are looking jaded, that last minute goal v Southampton is giving me nightmares,
