The temptation will be there to just play it very cagey, because obviously we don't need to win and they do.

Its one of those odd situations where everything seems to favour us. Not needing to win. Key players missing on their side. The need for them to come after us and leave themselves exposed. I cant imagine Leicester will be feeling particularly confident.

I cant see us not scoring, so its difficult not to feel quite confident tomorrow despite the nerves. In this case not having fans there will definitely work in our favour.
The mental part is the only negative thing for us. All pressure is on us. We should make it and the game should suit us.
We have seen us fall under pressure before. Just hope our defense and De Gea can avoid gifting them any goals.

It's concerning that all the goals we've conceded of late have been from bad errors.

I'm 75% confident that we will get throguh. I still remember our 5-3 loss to them few years ago and still remember the disappointment of the last few years. Yet, I'd rather play against Leicester City now than ever and I'd rather play against them than Wolves.

If we avoid defeat on Sunday then we have done enough to get Champions League football
I was a bit pissed off when I wrote that due to the West Ham result. If we don't make it though, we can only blame ourselves and not referees or luck or injuries.

Leicester need to win, I'm sure there's a little pressure there as much as Rodgers is building it up as great season if they qualify for Europe. Their awful form must weigh on their minds given that they looked certain for UCL.

I don't really know a good error in sport

Can't see it happening but Rashford should be dropped for this. I'd rather see Martial - Ighalo - Greenwood as our front 3. Not sure Pogba should be playing either, even without his mistake on Wednesday he doesn't look like making anything happen going forward, he seems to have lost his confidence to shoot or create anything in the final 3rd. He just strolls around in midfield not doing very much and often gets caught in possession.

Wish Fred and Mctominay were on form right now. This is another game for them. We need their energy and defensive contribution. Pogba playing in the double pivot is so crap defensively. Just an extra body
I agree with this. I'd have Fred in over Pogba.

A mistake in sport is a mistake. All sportspeople make them and it's the consequence of it that might have an impact on the result. We have made errors that have led to us conceding, and conceding first which has had an impact on our performance thereafter.

What does Fred offer bar running around being busy? If you took out one of the front 3 and had him in there as an extra midfielder, I'd go with it but replace a player who could change a game...no way.

Is there an unwritten rule somewhere that states that Chelsea can't lose two games?

It's Liverpool and Wolves ... Anyone can lose to those two
Exactly my mindset and given Wolves can drop out of the Europa league spots it's a game they need to get something out of.

I suspect a draw but you've got to hope.

Yeah totally agree . We had it in our hands and 2 horrible results at home has put it in the lap of the gods . I'm not overly confident and I think Wolves turning up at the bridge might be a route we need

You're right, he could change the game, by giving the ball away on the edge of our box or giving away a freekick/penalty. He's more likely to do that then create anything for us in his current form. Fred retains possession better, he moves the ball quickly, he's better defensively, and as you say, he's busy, he wins the ball back and is a safer bet than Pogba in general.

i understand you. Some errors are worse than others. Most of our errors have been unforgiveable.

I haven't seen Fred do anything positive in the 2/3 seasons he's been here but you think his ball retention etc are better? He's worse than Anderson but he's an extra body so I'd still prefer him or Mct(preferably) in midfield with only 2 up top.

There is zero chance Pogba will be dropped...we all know that

Its also comforting though. Individual errors are easier to correct than a systemic defensive issue

You haven't been watching then. Fred has been one of our best players this season up until the lockdown. People have short memories.

He was shit against Tottenham and Chelsea, both times we started him after the break. Pogba came on against Tottenham and turned the match.

Have you not been watching Fred this season? Arguably one of our player of the year contenders! When you have a front three like ours and Bruno pulling strings behind all you want are players like McT and Fred to build a platform for the attacking guys...Pogba is a liability

Some of these shouts... Ighalo over Rashford and Fred over Pogba.. in our most important game of the season..!

And these same people criticise Ole. Christ.

So Leicester have the following injured/suspended payers for tomorrow:

    Chillwell
    Ricardo
    Soyuncu
    Maddison
    Amartey
    Fuchs
    Albrighton (possibly)

Honestly, if we can't get a result we don't deserve CL

Possibly the ideal time to trial the 2-2-2-2-2 formation, Leicester City won't know what's hit them till it's too late -

    De Gea
    Lindelof Maguire
    AWB TFM
    McTom Fred
    Fernandes Pogba
    Rashford Martial
Could we play 2 goalkeepers as well, or is that not in the rules?

I guess you've never seen The Untouchables?
The Untouchables is one of my favourite musicals too.
A beautiful production. When Connery and Costner do the harmony bit on 'Somewhere', it breaks my heart everytime.

Ok. I may have got my Westside Story and my Untouchables mixed up there. A senior moment for which I apologise profusely.

OK, a couple of good games against the type of fodder the EL throws up isn't going to impress. Also given that his appearances have been limited suggests that he's really not in Ole's plans long term.

It appears that Jose's judgement in hardly playing him is being fully vindicated
