I think they are making a big mistake signing Hakan on. I've never been a fan of his during his time at Leverkusen and besides the last month he has also been nothing more than decent for AC Milan. They would be well advised to sell him while his stock may be high and go for another player to run their offense.

If they give him a big new contract it will only constrain them for a number of years.
The club look inclined to continue on with what they have rather than shake things up some more. I don't know how much they're necessarily offering Hakan, but if Hakan himself is willing to stay, then I'm not sure if Inter will necessarily give him that big of a contract. They're going to give a big contract to Ibra, anyways, if they pursue his renewal.

Regarding his performances, yeah, they haven't been good for the most part, but that was the case with the rest of the club (bar a couple of players). Now that Milan are finding their groove, he's proving his worth for them.

See if they think they can get 70m still!
Highly doubt it sadly. If not for the legal changes I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go to China. Inter of course can’t be ruled out, as they try to sign every footballer.

Leverkusen have made a €20m offer for Andre Onana, according to Telegraaf.

Haven't seen much of Onana but if he's as good as people make out it will be a huge snag for Leverkusen. But don't understand why Onana would want to join, Leverkusen won't become better after they sell Havertz so it's not is if he's joining a club in the up.

Promising 18-year-old Uruguayan Facundo Pellistri has come to an agreement with Lyon. Lyon's still negotiating with Penarol.

Forgot the full translation:
Confirmation in Uruguay for Facundo Pellistri's agreement with Lyon. However, Lyon don't want to meet the 9 million Euros release clause.

Not sure if it was worth it in the end for Palace. The relegation race was a bit close but couldn't they have stayed in the PL by selling him and reinvesting a bit of the money in a good scoring winger replacement ? I don't see which club could be tempted now, event at 30/40M. Too costly to be on the bench and i don't think he gets in the starting 11 of any of the top 6. Everton might be his best bet.
He’d easily walk in to your starting 11 no? Might even get in at Leicester or Spurs.

He’s still a really good player in my opinion. Wasting his talent away at CP. £40m is a decent amount cuz if he has good players around him, he’ll definitely shine better.

I’d feel sick if he went to Liverpool of all teams. He’s going to be tough dealing with and if he’s next to VVD, it’s almost like game over.
Kabak looks like hes got serious potential. Would be an excellent pick up
We really need to hijack this deal although I do agree with @jamesjimmybyrondean about how Liverpool can even afford him when they seem low on funds. Gives me hope this deal won’t go through.
Intersting, somebody mentioned him the other day as being very good even though he hadnt even seen him play
Might’ve been me that you’re talking about

I hadn’t watched him live except one or two times but then I did my fair bit of research including watching all the videos available of him in action.

Based on what I’ve seen so far though, he’s an epic player! I’d fully suggest you watch some clips of him. He is exactly the kind of player we need. Totally suits our DNA. I personally rate him higher than any other young CBs available at the moment.

Vertonghen.

looks like he’s leaving on a free.
Agree. Maybe not great, but would be good cover for Maguire. Left footed CB. Calm and experienced. Obviously not been great the last 12 months, but I don't think any Spurs-player has been up to their standards.

A free backup for Maguire that would buy us time and find the right CB next season. Also a very good left back. I think Maguire and Lindelof have developed an ok’ish partnership at the back. Both getting better all the time and learning to understand eachother. Would look a lot better with a better, more mobile DM infront of them.

Worry is that we have too many CBs already. In my opinion, none of them can be trusted and should be sold. In that sense, an experienced backup (+left footed) would make a lot of sense.
