This is what he said: “ “Bruno came in, was fit, played very well, improved the United team and also proved to be a great penalty taker, one of the best in the world, because he had about 20 to score”. - Jose on Fernandes at United

What a bitter twat, a dinosaur really. I hope he is the first one to get fired next season and then never see him on the touch line again.

That's what happens when you ask your team to venture out of their own box once in a while. Knob.

Being a top manager, when you're managing at a top club, I think having a go at your rivals is kinda cute and fun and it'll get fans on your side and can contribute to a competitive standard. However. Mourinho is not in a huge club with ambition and by extension he has none either so speaking the way he does just makes him look petty and a bad loser.

He'll have 30 to score next season once Sancho gets going

Hope we win the league next year with 70 penalties, all contentious. Bruno diving for 35 of them.

Haven't heard a clip but doesnt sound serious, nor do i think he's anything other than joking around, especially given the first part of the quote

Yet people want to be outraged, save yourself the anguish, seriously

This man was once charming. He wowed the English press when he first came to Chelsea and the league had no answer for his brand of football. We gave the answer. The answer was always obvious. Positive football always wins because negative football is an aberration. It can’t be the norm. It is antithetical to the idea of football. Viewing football is visceral, it can’t be reduced to an intellectual foray. That’s why tiki taka also went by the wayside. Teams took the useful elements from it and evolved. You can’t just pass the ball around. You have to make good use of possession.

I feel sorry for him. He’s bitter. He’s broken. He’s got no new ideas. He hasn’t learned humility. He hasn’t learned when to keep his mouth shut. His decline has been worse to behold than Wazza’s. May he eventually find some joy in punditry because he’s pretty good at that.

not going to lie, I got a chuckle out of it. Now that he isn't our problem any more, I can laugh about his bitterness and his little digs again.

We had a lot of penalties this season. Even before Bruno, Rashy, and Pogba had about 20 to score as well. Not sure why he is targeting Bruno specifically. His overall game beside set piece has improved our performance tenfold.

Mourinho should focus on Spurs because he has an uphill battle to concur after the brilliance of Pochettino. I fear that Spurs fan will never see top four or a champions league final again in their lifetime.

With VAR in play for all the penalties United were awarded it is easy to dismiss the bitter ravings of an old man for what they are.

He won’t be so witty when he presents Levy with his list of summer transfer targets. Would love to be a fly on the wall for that.

We have a bunch of ex-managers that are incredibly bitter about their time with us. They may have had things in their way, but they also chose to play shit tactics and not address the attitude of our players like Ole has done, which is the real reason why they weren't successful. They really struggle with it though.

What's funny is we didn't get many pens under these managers because they were too scared to get us playing attacking football.

They will get top 4 again. Maybe even under Mourinho, but I doubt it. They do not have a good enough squad for him.

Boring, egotistical w@nker. Never liked him and never wanted him at our club with his snatch and grab bullsh*t tactics.

Someone tell Jose that teams win penalties by playing attacking football/dominating the opponent. I can see why a Mourinho team wouldn't get many penalties, because you can count on one hand how many times they actually put together a coherent attack in one game. Boring cnut.

They got speed in Son, Lucas and Bergwijn. So they should be able to get them though.

You need to reach the other team’s zone to win a penalty, Jose.

Nah, I can’t see it in the near future. If their structure stays the same, it will take another manager like Pochettino to get them into top four and especially into the final of the champions league. Mourinho might win a domestic cup or even Europa league and Spurs fans will fall in love with him because of that one accomplishment but the consistency of top quality football will be missing from Spurs until they get another top quality progressive coach

It's amazing how the Manchester United penalty corruption conspiracy disappeared while Jose was our coach.

It's almost as if playing decent attacking football results in being awarded more penalties somehow.

 He doesn't get why we got so many penalties.
The concept is so foreign to him.

That's what happen when you play more attacking creative football and more flair players.

Wish he would start improving and adapt his football, but he won't, too stubborn with his narcissistic beliefs.
