Jose has had more than 20 opportunities to not be a cnut and he's missed every single one.

This man was once charming. He wowed the English press when he first came to Chelsea and the league had no answer for his brand of football. We gave the answer. The answer was always obvious. Positive football always wins because negative football is an aberration. It can’t be the norm. It is antithetical to the idea of football. Viewing football is visceral, it can’t be reduced to an intellectual foray. That’s why tiki taka also went by the wayside. Teams took the useful elements from it and evolved. You can’t just pass the ball around. You have to make good use of possession.

I feel sorry for him. He’s bitter. He’s broken. He’s got no new ideas. He hasn’t learned humility. He hasn’t learned when to keep his mouth shut. His decline has been worse to behold than Wazza’s. May he eventually find some joy in punditry because he’s pretty good at that.
Good post

Before when he took these digs, he was on top and winning.

Now he's celebrating finishing 6th with Spurs and taking digs at those above him.

Hilarious.

Now that we have Bruno and quick forwards, I hope it will be one of our tactics to just run into the defenders inside the box, jebaiting them for a foul and penalty kick. 40 penalty goals in one season should be our aim.

I hope he realizes that he comes across as someone who is divorced from reality by making such comments. I guess this type of "reality distortion field" is what keeps him alive and ticking as his career suffers one setback after another.

A washed-up bitter Dinosaur who can't handle that he's not everyone's little darling any more.

He always was overrated, just happened to be in the right place at the right time a few times. Bit like Di Matteo at Chelsea.

He's been found out at Spurs as not much more than a one-trick pony cheque-book manager.

Must hurt him deep knowing a complete novice in relative terms like Ole is doing 5 times the better job in laying down a long term foundation for success. He took the quick and easy route but as always these days with Jose it leads to a car crash. Shame as I really did wish that one day he rediscovers his golden touch but he’s more interested in being a caricature.

I mean, it doesn't always win. Sometimes it wins.

I like him when he's not our manager.
His digs don't bite, just funny.

When you stop to ask your wingers to play as FBs and your striker to play as a midfielder you may get some Jose.

I just lost all respect to this jerk, what a dinosaur bitter little guy. Even if he win the league or CL with Spurs I'm still very happy that we got rid of him.

He was probably very happy when we were struggling and probably asked castle to ready an article about how utd made a mistake of the century by hiring ole. Then Bruno came, from his own country, and exposed to everyone what a specialist in failure jose has become.

Its hard to get penalties when your team play a coward style of football with 2 shots on goal

Well, he's not wrong. What are you getting so mad about?
If by 20 he actually means 4 in the league, 1 in the FA Cup and 1 in the Europa League , then yes he’s absolutely right.

I don’t know why people get wound up by Jose. We don’t get annoyed when Sean Dyche says anything in the press, and that’s the calibre of manager we are talking about here.

Jose needs to understand that to get a penalty forwards need to attack and need to be in the opponents box not defend at the half way mark.

This thread proves how good negging is as a pickup technique.
Bruno came in, was fit, played very well, improved the United team and also proved to be a great penalty taker, one of the best in the world, because he had about 20 to score.
If Jose ever met half the posters in this thread, he'd be banging you by the end of the night.

For some reason I’m reading this at a compliment to Bruno for his conversion rate rather than a dig at anything, but I know I’m just being naive since it’s Mourinho we are dealing with.

Its a good sign we are starting to get hate again from opposition teams/fans, clear indication we are worrying them and going in the right direction.

I want to break the penalty record again next season, lets really wind up the opposition.

Sean Dyche has done a good job, don’t disrespect him by comparing him to Jose.

I found it hilarious, it's one of the reasons I've always liked Mourinho. It was a paper interview right? I can imagine him smiling when he said that. If it was after a loss then I would know it's out of bitterness - I feel this is just a bit of banter

I don't know what Mou is planning to achieve with this BS. It's evident that his next job will be with Portugal. What's the point of pissing off a future key player?

I think it's nothing more than a wee joke.

Looking forward to the day he asks levy what his transfer budget is and gets told they're just thinking about exploring the loan market.

This would be a good post if he hadn't won 2 Champions Leagues, 2 Europa Leagues, 3 Premier Leagues, 1 La Liga, 2 Serie A, Fa Cup, 3 League Cup, Coppa Italia, Copa del Rey.

Nonsense post, considering that list.

Also, people are way too serious. I am surprised people can get any enjoyment out of football like that. The man is clearly joking.

It is the people on here who seem to have the problem.

It’s tongue in cheek mate. Nobody is taking this seriously except some united fans, I am guessing.

He's right though. His past achievements dont matter much right now. He's pushing it, trying to find his old self but he doesn't want to reinvent himself or doesn't know how to and it just goes in circles.

Why would Bruno be pissed off by that?
