Wasn't sure what the score was in Spain re, training, if this is his third full season maybe he should consider a career change, Cricket maybe.
Not sure about a growth spurt as he looked too tall to be a fullback in his first season but he filled out once he got into full-time training, and his passing which was already good didn't look as drilled in his second season.
Gill was a funny one, he was never gonna make it at United but just to give up the game on leaving the club was strange. Maybe it was a locker-room thing!
Nah, he just wanted to be a fancy lawyer like his dad I think. Probably figured he'd have more chance of getting to the top of sports law then he would the top end of the football pyramid. CBJ linked with a move back to Oldham Athletic. The Oldham manager described him as a ‘Premier League talent playing in League One’ Don’t think that says much good about him really.

He said himself that he didn’t think he make it to PL level. After going on loan to Bradford he said it was very different to playing for United and he didn’t fancy playing in the lower leagues.
Same difference. He knows Maurice Watkins well enough, could have done whatever he wanted I assume.
He said he realized that he wouldn't play in the Premier League and (after going to Bradford on loan) he didn't fancy the life of a League One or League Two footballer. Fair play to him. He is gifted, is an intellectual and has options in life, so probably easier for him but still. I wouldn't have made that choice.

Yeah, I talked about UYL. He will definitely play there, as well as in FA Youth Cup.
Other than these competitions, he will be U-23 player.

I found the rules for last season and added 1 year to the dates. Doesn't look like he's eligible for UYL.
Those rules are for up to 5 players born in 2001, not those younger.
That’s for the 5 overage players you can choose. He isn’t overage.
Technically we can still play Greenwood Laird Garner at UYL as overage players next season but I dont think we will play any of them. Don't have many 2001s left after Hockenhull and Ramazani leaves, probably Traore, Puigmal, Galbraith whoever stays with the U23s, and Helm + Carney + Stanley.

Quite impressive to make debut at 15 year old. Hopefully our agreement with him is true. Looks a great talent
Hope we sign him when he turns 18. Looks like he might get a fair bit of game time in the next year or two so long as he stays clear of injuries.
