Can Sancho pretty much play across the whole front line or am I mistaken? If so the quality in depth we'll have will be groundbreaking.

Sancho is being bought as a superstar on a superstar wage; I don't think what he's currently on is here nor there as he's now being acknowledged as one of the world's best outright with what we're willing to pay to get him here. Having said that, I wonder if it'll be an target/bonus based package or just an outright, flat wage. As far as I'm aware, we don't take a % of image rights? If that's the case, then it'll be interesting to see what the sponsors around him drum up in terms of deals.

You're probably right about Bruno, but if he's on fire through to December, him entering talks wouldn't really be a shock.

I think Pogba is going to ask for at least parity with De Gea, if not be the #1 earner at the club.

But, all said and done, we really need stragglers like Sanchez out the door. We're going to have a star-studded attack, but we're going to be paying heftily for the privilege!
Yeah, but he's still young and need to prove over time that he's worth big money. If his fee was artificially lower due to a release clause or something he would get a higher salary. He just doesn't have negotiation wiggle room for much more if we are the only one who can afford to buy him. Alternative being staying at Dortmund another year.

He has been putting up good numbers, but still don't have any achievements to leverage in negotiations.
If he's expected to feature about the same as Rashford then it makes sense for them to be paid about the same.

Sancho contract till 2025, that means he can go up to 270-300 by the time he's 23-24. With room above for his next contract at 27.

I think the club will accept Pogba parity with De Gea, but not higher (which is why I said up to 375k). Pogba can leverage is WC-win as well as his performances and brand. Club will use De Gea's loyalty and performance for the club over many years to say why David got so much and why Pogba still has to put in more time to be able to make more than him.

That was mean, the guy is so clueless but they need'nt have to bring him down this way.

Very funny, United fans are proper nobs.
He's a nob, especially his opinions on Beckham, proper bell.

Not as a CF, but he'll make great cover for Bruno.

Think he's a wide man who could do a job at 10. Probably not a striker though.

Just out of interest if this doesn't go through where will it rank in terms of muppet suicide compared to say greizmann or sneijder?
This one would sting the most for me, in my eyes Sancho is the difference between being title challengers and title winners in the upcoming seasons. We're so, so close to where we want to be, genuinely only a few signings away from being a very good team. Missing out on him would be something we look back at in years time wondering what might have been.

I will never get from when did all those reports that link us to Willian come from. I have never seen a reliable one ever, really. The obsession with talking about Mourinho while we're about to land an exciting, great transfer is just weird.

Apparently talk sport saying it’s now done basically. I know they’re not the best source but can anyone confirm they’re reporting this?
All I can see on their website is the presenters claiming he really wanted a move to Liverpool but he'll have to settle for United instead :smirk:

Woodward stopped that forward line from happening.
For all his faults, he deserves some credit here. People always quick to type "he's not a football guy/doesn't know football" regarding a guy that's been working at one of the biggest football institutions in the world for over a decade. Always seemed like lazy criticism to me.

Is he as roughly as good as Ronaldo was after 4 years with us? The year before he scored 40+ goals?
Wow. Thats some statement. Ronaldo was just outstanding player and he performed in a very demanding and high quality league with a club that expects titles
I am sorry but Jadon is playing in a different league and the club always plays second fiddle. Second is very acceptable for them.
I remember Mkhitaryan, when he came to united had even crazier stats of assists and goals but he just couldn't get involved.
And before that Kagawa had player of the season performances, yet couldn't perform in a very attacking man united

So in my opinion, I would wait for him for a season to decide on this inference

It's as usual, the rest of journalists wait till Di Marzio and Romano report something then just follow up with exactly same news as it's their own sources.

Where would Sancho rank among our team in terms of ability. I haven't watched him much. I guess it will be after Pogba and Bruno. But is he better than Martial and Rashford.
Personally, I think he's more 'natural gifted' than Bruno and that he'd be our most talented player, alongside Pogba.

Sancho has the benefit of coming from an actual English academy at Man City so he should adapt to PL just fine imo. Mikhi was a good player back then but the intensity of the league was way too much for him and unfortunately, he was just a coward when pressure goes on.

Sky reporting what Daniel Harris tweeted a few days ago regarding the structure of the deal.

Big deal, I signed Sancho on FIFA 20 months ago. In a player plus cash deal with Lingard going the other way
I got him up to a 97 rating, then he complained that he wasn’t playing despite always playing and left for Serie B on a free. Cosenza I think it was. Never been more pissed off at a game.

What does this say?

Comes from an account that has me blocked seemingly
Omg theres always one

“It’s gone from a potential pensioner front 3 of Willian-Lukaku-Perisic under Mourinho to one of the most exciting young front 3s in world football Rashford-Martial-Sancho (and Greenwood). Incredible transformation. We departed with Mourinho at a perfect time. #mufc“
