My local team in my home city, been to a fair few memorable matches over the years, so definitely going for Fulham.

I do think Brentford are an interesting team with their scouting and infrastructure, and would have ideally liked them to go up alongside Fulham, with Brentford taking West Broms place.

If Fulham win, it'll be interesting to see if they go a different route with the transfers compared to a couple of seasons back.

Brentford. It will be interesting to see how their data driven recruitment scales up to the PL.
Well, we already know, liverpool lost the league by 1 point last season

And it's not just recruitment, the data-driven approach heavily influences everything they do, including tactics

Their MO has been to buy the overperforming players from overperforming teams in lesser leagues. That is less likely to work in the Premier League as getting top level players that way is difficult.

Hope Brentford lose so that we can get Benrahma cheap.

Seen a few Brentford games this season - a couple live. They play very nice football, and Ollie Watkins could become a hell of a player. I'd like to see them win this

I have a soft spot for Fulham, always have done, however having a new team in the PL is really nice and would obviously mean a lot to the Brentford fans, so I think I'll be rooting for them tonight.

The league already has a decent quota of teams owned by foreign billionaires. Hope Brentford win.

Fulham are a nice harmless club and all that, but would like to see Brentford go up.
A fresh team to the league, lots of exciting young players. It'd be a shame to see their team split up.

Yeah, should do it the old fashioned way like United...

Oh wait.

Oh you rascal, I hadn't considered that part. Because United have a bloodsucking leech of an owner, I should obviously embrace every other club becoming a foreign billionaires plaything aswell.

Though I do quite like that the billionaires son who runs Fulham describes himself as the "Owner/Director of Football/GM/Sporting Director" on Twitter. Most owners try to hide their meddling with the playing staff, that guy gave himself 4 different titles plus two more with an NFL team.

it's not, if your scouts and data-guys are better than the competition's. Plus Sheffield United did pretty well for themselves with what they had

And again, their data-driven approach has so far worked very well in getting the team and players to do well. The kind of data-analysis clubs at PL level have access to tends to work, if used properly. And they do. Liverpool does.

Would prefer Fulham to come back up, they're usually good for the GD

Brentford are a good team to watch so am hoping they win. Bit gutted they've moved from Griffin Park as have never been and would have liked to have gone to the United game (if crowds come back and they get promoted)

Don't mind either team but Fulham stunk the place up last time they were in the PL, so rooting for Brentford in this one.

Don't want Fulham to win, always game raise in the derby! Having just lost Bournemouth, don't want another team that always seems takes points in the league.

Little rivalry with Brentford despite grounds only 5 mile apart. They finished above us and Arsenal in 35/36 but that's about the limit of it

If there's anything that shows the absolute huge difference between winning and losing, it's that the winners will play United next season, and the losers will play my boys Wycombe :)

feck you all. Fulham all day.

Craven Cottage is like a London based Old Trafford for us. And an excellent away match to go to as a supporter.

Absolutely no pop at those who can't go to games - but I'm sure most match-goers would want Fulham in the Premier League for the away match.

I also like their history.
I lived right by it for about a year. Fun to be in my early 20's in Fulham (ages ago).

Rooting hard for them.

Tonight let's all hope Brentford win.
A win is worth £160 million. No game in world football has bigger financial implications.
I do like Scott Parker but a fresh team in the Prem is always fun.
Would be amazing for Brentford and also the Premier League to have a completely new team.
Really hope Brentford win and would be fascinating to see what they spent that kind of money on for the first time in their history.

Think I'll watch the game. Do Brentford have a realistic chance of winning? Who are their star players?

Ok, time to become a Brentford supporter for the next couple of hours, I believe.

The guys haven’t played in the top division for 73 years - it’s been quite a wait...

Brentford seem favoured by the bookies. Star players would be Benrahma and Watkins.

Their front 3 'BMW' - Benrahma, Mbeumo & Watkins

They really do, they have been fantastic going forward this season. Although historically that’s usually the kiss of death when describing a newly promoted team. Their forward line (BMW) is fantastic, Benrahma is easily their most exciting player going forward, but I really rate Watkins and Mbuemo is pretty darn good too. I think they’ve scored the most goals in the championship this season.

Thanks for the heads up. BMW all the way!

Neeskens Kebano is clearly a Rick and Morty character. Fulham aren’t fooling me

Was just looking at Championship table.
Hull lost all last 5 games, and missed safety by only 4 points.
What the hell happened to them?!

Most one-sided game I’ve seen in a long time. Counts for nothing if they don’t score. Remember Derby v QPR in 2014.
