For all you people shitting on Chevrolet, and yes it's not the most glamorous logo or company, they pay a feck ton of cash to United and don't have any CL clauses like adidas. So be a little bit more thankful that Chevrolet is paying ridiculous amounts of money, never defaulted on payments, and will hopefully make the next United shirt sponsor pay significantly more per year.
I’m sure they got their name out there in Britain and worldwide through the deal, which after all is why any company pays to sponsor something, for the exposure.

Unfortunately for us fans who like owning the latest United kit, particularly the home kit, we’ve been ‘exposed’ to having a turd printed on our beloved strip.

They cost a lot of money and it’s massively off putting to even buy one with that tacky thing on the front. Which in itself sort of defeats the object if it’s off putting for fans.

It may sound petty to some but it matters to some sections of the fanbase.

Losing to Comeback Winning!
The font for the number and name at the back look epic!

As for the logo, I just wish we get a better and more fitting logo after the deal ends. Chevy isn't really that bad, not the best either.

Lads, I'm not sure if it's been said yet, but I can't stand the Chevy logo. Runs every potentially good looking kit.

Thankfully it won't be Chevrolet anymore. Soon after the deal was done they realized how much they fecked up, apparently some guy lost his job too, so no way they're going to extend it. I think they even said it already. There's hoping Woodward finds a new sponsor that's as good for the club economically but I also want my team to look nice in their kits, maybe finally buy one. Chevy logo is garbage, hands down worst football sponsor ever among the top clubs. Never bought a jersey because of it and when I look at the pics of players I genuinly think they don't feel comfortable wearing that monstrosity

Didn't Chevrolet seize all operation in Europe shortly after this deal was signed? In that case they would hardly see any uplift in revenue from this sponsorship. It just doesn't make sense.

Yes it looks horrible on our kits but it's only one more year before we hopefully find a sponsor with a more attractive logo.

Do you buy the kit because of your support to the club, the club's player, or because of the sponsor or because you want it to look nice on you? There's always the training kit and apparel!

And it's not even just for the exposure, but the right to use the marks/logos/likenesses of the club and players for the brand and ability to activate during pre-season and throughout the season (normally speaking).

Don't buy the kit if the sponsor is so off putting to you and your personal tastes. Or else, just own it and embrace it because it's United.

Even the model doesn't look too enthusiastic!

Those kits mentioned were terrible agreed, this years looks OK.
It's probably not as bad. I just think these patterns really cheapen the look. Looks more like a t shirt than a proper kit. I have the 08 one, and it's just so classy.

I like the new jersey and I have just ordered it for my daughter. Will be her first football kit so hopefully we have a memorable season in it to make it more special.

United kit isnt available in store here until the 11th weirdly. Guess the first week is exclusive to the megastore and Adidas websites.

Those Palace kits are nice, not something I thought I’d find myself saying.

If Puma can cough up the dosh I would consider them over Nike and Adidas next time around.

So sick of the talentless designers at Nike and Adidas.

Puma has the best kits this season IMO. No copy and paste jobbies and City's away kit is pure gold as much as I hate to admit it.

It's only what... 5 years until our deal with Adidas runs out?

But yeah. Luckily Puma stopped making their jerseys so tight they looked painted on. I've seen a few people at stretford end through the years who would not appreciate that (and by "seen a few people at stretford end" i mean me).

Our kit is poor. Adidas are shite at designing, they don't tend to have new ideas, 3 stripes and that's it. Nike and Puma are way better. Ours looks like a Stagecoach bus seat cover which some have already pointed out.

I'll never get why people say Nike a better. They haven't made a good United jersey since 2010. Adidas have made several great looking jerseys since the start. Though the last 2 home jerseys arent really anything special.

Adidas started on fire, and got gradually worse over time. Our last three home kits have been proper garbage

I am sure it will eventually grow on me and I will eventually cave and buy one anyway. I just don't like the background pattern on it, everything else is okay albeit a bit similar to previous ones.

The away kit should be good, if rumours of it being legacy green with orange adidas logo are true.

How is this ugly?

I find it classy to have subtle patterns like that.
Simple yet so classy.

I like it to be honest. As you said simple yet classy. Alot better than the 2018/19 home shirt.
