Let's not forget that Trump himself removed the US from the INF Treaty last year, so this diversionary tactic makes him even more of a prick.
Absolutely.

It's amazing that we are still talking about things that make him look 'even more of a prick' though. Is there such a thing is ultimate prickness, and how bad is it if even Trump hasn't gotten there yet?

I don't even understand why he agreed to do the Axios interview to begin with, instead of a soft ball chat with Tucker Carlson or his rent boy Hannity. Now the Lincoln Project has enough material to harass him for a year.
I honestly think in his warped mind, he's doing a great job. First Chris Wallace now Axios, I'm not shirking the tough interviews.

I think it's more you can't debate a guy who doesn't respond to or even understand your points. He just constantly interrupts and blabs on whilst also calling out others for trying to interrupt him.
This is the main thing one has to remember preparing for a debate with him. He will not be in the same reality with you. You cant have rational back and forth with him because he will just flat out lie and pivot to bullshit talking points. "No one has done more the the African Americans than me" Yet African Americans and Hispanics are dying at a much higher rate than the rest of the population from his complete failure of Covid 19 policy. Not to mention the millions out of work, bills looming. Trump and the GOP trying to take away unemployment benefits in the middle of the pandemic. Biden should be prepared to just point out the facts and call him a liar every time he speaks.

We all know what he is debating him should be easy. The trap is if you try to debate him like he knows what hes talking about or reason with him at all.

This exactly. He thinks hes right and if he can tweet enough he can "make everyone understand" all the death they are seeing. And waiting for benefits to come, and trillions upon trillions being spent to prop the economy up are good things. Hes surrounded by yes men and hype men, and a complicit GOP that never correct him other than to casually express "disappointment" at his daily outrages.

What's his game?
Florida mail-in votes = GOP = good; Nevada mail-in votes = Dem = bad.
Mail-in votes for Trump = count. Mail-in votes for Biden = don't count.

This is why there shouldn't be any debates this time. Trump will lie in the debate, lie about lying, then lie that he won the debate, regardless of anything that happens in the debate.

The problem is that he (and he's not the only political leader) has moved where the line is drawn, hasn't he? It really is a case of "if Obama/Bush/Clinton did what he's done it would've been a big political scandal". But now he and his lackeys just shake their heads and go "nah, that's false" and before the 24 hour news cycle can get their heads around the bizarre response they're already on to the next big thing.

Yeah - the sort of thing that shocks the news cycle now (for at least a day) would have gotten people booted out of office 20 years ago. Just not sure how he can still become more of a prick at this point. I guess he's still pushing prickness to previously unknown levels. Quite something to live up to for his kids. (Although they're doing well on that; I have nothing but respect for them in that regard.)

This is how I felt when GOP were asking for more debates. Its just going to be forced airtime for him to lie. Its not worth multiple debates. But, the narrative if there were none at all and its the Dems choice would be worse.
Biden is already hampered from getting airtime with the covid situation. He just needs to prepare the right way be ready for the most outlandish lies. Don't follow him into the crazy. Flat out call him a fing liar and point out his many failures.

I didn't know the state of California had a National Park called "Yo-Semites"

Probably saw the word and thought about Antisemitism. "That's that word Jared says a lot but he pronounces it wrong. Stephen uses that other word. How bizarre a word can be both good and bad, like flying a kite yet it's a bad slang at a Jewish person. A lot of people don't know that."

"Mr. President... Sir... um... never mind."

Debates are one of the few reasons I didn’t mind a Biden vs Trump matchup too much. Joe is very no-nonsense and should have no problem smacking down Trump when he gets all crazy. Biden won’t try and come across as the shocked smart guy, he’ll just mock and brawl and get dirty.

Biden looks like the Joker in one of the comic series. Has that look of a villain yet stately. I've no doubt he'd better lead in this pandemic, but so would this stray cat loitering outside.

Still my fav Biden moment.

The HBO interview is pure gold. What a mess
Read the books
What books

I gotta say Brits are perfect for these types of interviews.
It's almost like he doesn't catch on to the sarcasm and cynicism. I was surprised how relatively calm Trump stayed. Almost like he didn't realize how often the reporter was calling him on his bs.

Ah feck normally it's very distinct to my ears but not with him. I just googled it and he s indeed Oz. Ah same thing to us anyway. It's like the new improved version of Brits and it still needs a lot of work. Would ve been obvious it he had called Trump a cnut.

Wonder why Trump has been feeding him info all these years and if he ll continue to do so after this. He could ve hit him a lot harder if he wanted to but I guess he wants to maintain his in.

The HBO interview is proper Frost/Nixon stuff, nailed on to be made into a movie in a couple of years.
