Leverkusen and Wolves have a big motivation to qualify for Champions League by winning this trophy. I can see one of them will goes to the Final.

I think one of the two gets there. The other tesms have qualified and although it’s great to win a cup, with the current advent of relentless matches it’s possible the likes of Inter, Sevilla and united know they’re in the big one next season and therefore let up a bit.

Heard yesterday that Sevilla have conceded only 5 goals in the last 12 games since the restart. They do look defensively solid and so are Wolves. So it’ll be a cagey quarters there.

Going to be a really good tournament. Hope to play against Sevilla and hopefully inter. Should be a good indicator of where the squad is in terms of quality in Europe. Proper UCL level opponent.

The scenes when Copenhagen destroy you will be magnificent. :smirk:
I don't think anyone will particularly care to be honest.. I'm very much seeing this as a pre season tournament - It has that feeling.

I want to win it, obviously, but I don't feel any nerves or anything as there is so little riding on it.

I didn't think Wolves looked that solid yesterday, Olympiacos had chances and were to have their goal ruled out. I think other teams will find opportunities against them.

Think you should just speak for yourself.

Chance to go into Pot 1 so avoid some of the big teams, makes us even more attractive to potential transfer targets, get this young team used to winning. What is there not to like? Might get Ole some credit for a change as it is Frank this and Frank that when he has not won anything. Even Brendan Rogers is in the Barclays PL nominations for Manager of the Season. Brendan 'fecking' Rodgers.

Leverkusen aren't a cup winning team, they are defensively suspect and Bosz is set on playing brave football. Conte will have a field day.

He helped put the foundation for Liverpools title win! That is why he is nominated! Not sure pot 1 is much better than pot 2. Hard sides in either pot I think.

If we win it, Solskjaer would have just been lucky and it didn't really matter anyway and he'll get found out sooner or later etc., etc., etc. But yeah Lanky Frampard and Mikel Arteta are doing sterling jobs at their respective clubs.

Klopp put the foundations in himself 2015, 2016 and 2017 and the majority of their key players right now are Klopp signings.

If we go through we get a days extra rest than our semi-final opponent.

I thought the whole point of this club 2020 finals was so it was to resemble a international tournament schedule...don't know why they are playing 2 games at the same time.....
