Genuinely don't know why they hired him in the first place, was obvious he'd be out of his league. Can only imagine what Ronaldo must have thought when they hired him

This also means Jorginho isn’t going anywhere. His manager doesn’t have a club. I’d rather Chelsea keep him and pay high wages rather than recoup his transfer fees.

Embarassing club that sack a manager that won them the league. It is like Liverpool firing Klopp this season too since he only won the league ;). Would be nice if Pool did!

No it isn't. It's nothing like that. Juventus win the league every year with relative ease and he made it a struggle. He then lost both cup competitions, the Champions League in very poor circumstances considering the quality they have. The club has gone backwards under him.

They have gone greedy thinking it is easy to win the league every year. The squad they got is not that great to be honest.

Sarri's whole reputation was built on the time Pep Guardiola said that Napoli were the best team that City faced in Europe a few seasons back.

If Pep had not have said that, Sarri would never have gone to Chelsea and Juventus and nobody would have the first clue still who he was outside of Italy.

Sarri was only ever a short term appointment until they could woo Pep anyway. Build a team that plays in a similar style so it's easier for him when he finally arrives. Will be interesting to see who they get in now to fill the gap.

In my opinion the main problem is that for some reason he didn't even try to turn them into a "Sarri" team, he tried to do what Allegri would have done but logically worse. So there is no point keeping Sarri if he isn't going/able to impose the style that made him an interesting manager.

I was at that game. I came out of it thinking that City had completely toyed with Napoli and 2-1 flattered them.

Well there was that and the fact they pushed Juventus to the title a few years back. He built a very good team at Napoli and got them playing some great football so it wasn't unwarranted. Sarri is exactly what would happen if Pochettino was given one of these jobs though. Just because you can get a smaller side playing well and come close to winning something doesn't mean you can manage the big boys

How much money would Sarri have made from being sacked in the past year?
Aren't the payments based on garden leave? So you get sacked and then as long as you don't take another job in 3 to 6 months the club continue to pay your salary and such for that time.

Sarri to replace Ole next summer? Not that I want it.
We were reluctant to hire a manager that gouged people's eyes during games, how are we going to be okay hiring a manager who chews cigarette buds on the touchline and makes questionable comments about homosexuals in post match pressers?

Not to mention he decided to stick Ronaldo out on the wing & play Higuain as their #9 all season. Someone should have told him it's not 2013 any more. Higuain bagged 8 goals in 32 league games in a farmers league. Shocking striker. Missed 3 sitters vs Lyon too.

To be honest, Chelsea didn't even sack Sarri, Juventus paid us £7 mil for him.

I think the hot weather is melting my brain.

Back to Conte?
Would surely never get out of the San Siro alive for the away game once crowds are allowed back.

I'd like to see Poch there.

Juve need a few additions but you've got a core of De Ligt-Demiral-Bentancur-Rabiot-Dybala you can surely build round for next 3-4 years. Could buy someone like Kane next summer if Ronaldo does one more year.

Starting Higuain in a CL knock out is ridiculous and then you've got the defenders who are legends but are past their best now and injury prone. Alex Sandro and Cuardrado aren't great anymore so need a bit of a rebuild with full backs.

 What the feck has Pochettino done to land one of the biggest management jobs in the world?
Niko Kovac, Hansi Flick, Quique Setien, Ernesto Valverde and so on and so on ... Pochettino has done a lot more than a lot of managers who somehow got a big job in recent years.

Haven't they all been sacked? Bayern just take managers within their league to weaken opposition teams, not to strengthen their own, they sign players for that.

Juve is a club with ambition. I respect them because of that. They operate in the way where there is no long term or short term excuses.
Only next season is important. And that is how they evaluate players and coaches. And that is why they win titles and are among favourites in CL every year.
