He was absolutely gassed in the last couple of weeks due to Solskjaer's refusal to rest him, he'll be back to being amazing for us next season especially if we sign cover so we aren't as reliant on him to carry us every game.
He could have another 3 games in 11 days first

Pretty poor decision making, it is highlighted when the rest of the team is not playing well. Passing backward is not as bad as losing the ball whenever you get it.

Really unlucky not to score a few more.

His final ball was off at times.

Most of his passing was terrible, a few times he had the right idea with the killer ball but either over or underhit it. Still contributed though

If that was his debut you’d all be spunking yourselves. He makes a big difference to our team even though he does give the ball trying things. He also keeps hitting the post same as Pogba.

He’s hit the post for us 4 times now that’s double the amount of goals he has from open play. Needs to be that little bit more accurate!

It's weird
Didn't play particularly well but was unlucky not to score a brace and should have had two assists if not for poor play from Rashford/Greenwood

Think he has 3 from open play? Brighton x 2 ( I know one was deflected but still) and Everton.

While his output is still great, his overall general play is starting to worry me a lot and it's hard to not say it. He needs to regain form and improve.

Hes not tired so what can his passing be blamed on
It's just his standard. I said it when he was playing for Sporting, and it's apparently what put some clubs off him, too. This isn't anything new.

Hes an incredible goal threat. He is exactly what we need but the toy has lost its shine so we are asking him to become a different player, which is ridiculous.

Nice to see his shooting boots were back!

inches away from some lovely assists, the one for greenwood especially.

good performance verging on potentially a fantastic one.

How are people saying he had a bad performance???
He was misplacing passes all over the show. His decision making was appalling tonight, I've no issue with creative players taking a risk but that doesn't mean he has to concede possession constantly.

poor game. I'm puzzled with how poor his final ball can be. regularly mis-hits easy passes and gives the ball away too often

still hit the post, but a poor performance. guy needs to go back to basics. it's quite puzzling when you see his quality in other moments

Thought he was immense in the second half, yes not every pass was perfect but some were amazing, plus his shooting was so unlucky today. A few times he passes it too fast but when they work out they look sick. Hopefully the players around him pick up on it too. He never gives up!! we are lucky to have him.

It was a mixed bag for me. Some great passes (should've had at least 1 assist) and a well taken pen, but gave the ball away too cheaply a lot, and made the wrong pass a few times when easier passes were on.

Bruno is brilliant. The amount of chances he created in the second half, not to mention smashing the post, we should have been out of sight. In the end he deserved to be the match winner. Hope to see rival fans crying about Penandes. Love to see the way it burns them that we have Bruno.

My opinion hasn't really changed of him the past 4-5 (?) games. Elite ability but playing with the ball like a hot potato. Ole needs to say something.

Not his worst performance recently, but still quite poor and not close to the level we saw for the first ten games.

Scoring penalties is extremely valuable though, and often underestimated quality. It’s just the same as being a great finisher but often discussed in a negative sense on players like Bruno and Ronaldo who score a lot of penalties. As opposed to people who score lots of freekicks, great penalty-takers are underrated.

Some good stuff, some not so good stuff tonight. That's the kind of player he is. When the good stuff comes off more you overlook the not so good stuff. He still looked like he'd be the one to make a difference, and of course he still put his pen away.

Penalties aside, he’s a consistent goal threat from outside the box. Seems to come close to smacking one in from 20 yards in most games. Then we have the one or two outrageous passes he usually pulls off (e.g. chance Rashford messed up at far post). Plus he works his socks off. Such an asset to the team. More than compensates for his sometimes careless moments.

Last time I wasn't worried about scoring a penalty was probably in Cantona era... and maybe Ronaldo at some point.

Good to have him.

His shooting from the right side of the box is much more consistent isn’t it. When he turns and leathers it they almost always go in or on target.

we should really be playing a 433 with pogba left and Fernandes right, we just need a proper workhorse behind them. A Fabinho/Ndidi would be ideal.

Vision, shooting and obviously penalties are all great but it's bizarre how often he completely messed up easy passes.

Average performance By his high standards. Bad in the first half, much better later, has hit the post with a long shot, scored a winning penalty in ET. 11th goal of the season (or of the half a season, to be precise).

Starting to feel a while since he had a good game. He's one of the reasons why we haven't been able to control the midfield lately(along with Ole setting us up awfully. Makes his midfield players be far apart from each other in our building phase especially).

I also refuse to look at his stats without context. His stats with us are ridiculously padded especially the last 6 or so games. Did very little creativity wise(often fecking up even simple passes) but his teammates, especially Martial have been handing him penalties and scoring worldies from simple passes. He needs to step up his game. He's been average or bad for the last 6-7 games. That's just too many games to keep turning a blind eye.

Martial, Greenwood aren't getting chances created for them. They've scrapping for chances because Bruno has somehow lost the ability to make simple passes lately. Mata of all people(who has greatly declined) came in and showed him creative because he could manage not to feck up simple passes.

Personally think he's getting a bit too much stick on here at the moment. Yes a few passes were poor tonight, but you always get the impression he's the one that's going to make something good happen.
