I want us to win the SF just to see a reporter ask Ole about 'football heritage'. Apparently, Sevilla have more of it than we do.
They will not ask him that question, cause they are not United fans, so there for, they do not remember that meltdown, and couldn't give a flying kite about it.
But Ole might tell boys to score three goals and say something like: "This is how you win Sevilla" and raise three fingers, looks at camera and winks.

Both team were poor tonight.

We should fear no one left in the Europa.

Two games to go...

BT still banging on about the penalty ffs

Wolves had the whole match to win it. Ridiculous excuse making, they'd never give so many for us.

Watched the second half, noticed that Seville like to load up on their right side, sometimes 3 or even 4 out there. Williams will certainly need support and cover, will Rashford drop in, or more likely Matic, or Fred. Think we need to bolster our midfield with an extra player, and just play two up front, let Pogba push forward more when we have the ball. Not sure what Seville's defence is like as Wolves never put them under any pressure at all.

Because one of the best Spanish teams have snuck a late single goal victory against our 7th best team?!
More because of how one sided the game was. Don't even think Wolves got into the opposite half in the second half. Copenhagen did more against us.

My point is the relative strength of the league is overrated. Some believe it's this amazing division higher than the rest of Europe then you see that and ask just how true is that?

City and Pool are obviously quality but everyone else is neither here nor there. Not much better than the clubs from other leagues.

That was one of those penalties tonight that you instantly knew they would regret missing. They were never going to able to keep up that kind of pace with Traoré for any length off time in that heat, and looked like either of them just nicking a goal after that. Thought it was going to be another game running into ET. It's still going to be around 30 degrees for the Sunday match.

And how did Wolves do against the 4th side in the premier league last time they played?

1 shot on target, 37% possession and lost 2 nil.

Teams do that v Wolves all the time. Theyre a defensive shithouse

If I've learned anything from tonight's game it's that we should not sit back, we don't tend to do well when we let teams suffocate us, Wolves are quite a good counter attacking side and even they barely got a sniff. We've got a lot of quality, we need to play our own game.

Hopefully we'll have acclimatised a bit by then.

Wolves were just awful, Sevilla will be a tough a Matchup for United.

Wolves had zero creativity, shocking stuff all around. Not sure how they managed a top 7 finish

Both Ocampos and Suso are much better on the right, but when both start, Ocampos get shifted to the left. He stayed there for ~30 minutes without doing much and than changed sides. I don't think the manager had much to do with it. Thats why starting Munir over Suso is much more sensible.

Defending isn't Reguilon's strong suit, so Greenwood could have a very good time. He has to foul a fair bit against agile players and is occasionally caught far up the field.

Kounde, Diego Carlos and Navas are usually very reliable and class.

Spot. This is comfortably the worst EPL of
The last ten years outside of the Leicester season. La liga is crap too right now but epl is also in woeful form

PL quality is quite shocking below the TOP 2.

He isn't. He's a very good player, who is playing for a very very defensive team, who sit back and soak up pressure. His best attributes are what he does on the ball, not what he does off it. There's only so much he can do with 25% possession,
He's a decent player that has even been targeted by Wagner at Huddersfield and Neves was awful.

He's also to blame for the lack of possession because he and his team got dominated on the ball.

Yes, Koundé,the most fashion CB in la liga.
A few weeks ago there was news about the interest of Madrid(Zidane), then some itk confirmed it, as an option in a negotiation that would include Reguilón and Kubo, but apparently Sevilla didn't move from the 75 million.
CB for a top team.
I don't follow Sevilla so much but personally I would highlight the positioning(although he is fast).
About Sevilla @PedroMendez or @SfcNervion can give you a better opinion

I feel bad for Wolves. A really disappointing last couple of weeks ruined an otherwise good season. As opposed to Leicester, who were punching above their weight for a long time, I felt Wolves were constantly competing and just came short. Must be very disappointed even if today’s performance didn‘t deserve anything.

They should be disappointed but they have to blame themselves. Played some horribly boring football, losing to arsenal and chelsea. And now this. Nuno is a good manager but he is a boring version of Jose. I think he should act smart and move to a better club. He has achieved all he can with Wolves. Good time to move.

Wolves should really be playing more enterprising football with their attacking talent. Didn't expect to see Sevilla as dominant as they were vs Roma, but this was even more-so. How many touches did Wolves even get in that 2nd half? Dangerous team, I have them as the favorites to win it.

I wonder when was the last time that the last 4 of the Europa league has 4 teams who will be playing Champions league football the following season?

Inter are the bookies favourites to win the cup and be interesting to see will they still be that if they reach the final?

The last eight Europa league titles has been won by English and Spanish teams so it will be no surprise if the winner of United v Sevilla goes on to win the final. An Italian team hasn't won this Cup since Parma in 1999. Shakhtar Donetsk won't have any fear of Inter and enjoy the underdog tag as they aim to match their success from 11 years ago

Prize money is not the biggest driver for winning the league and hasn't been for a long time.
Winning competitions gives you more fans, more exposure and attracts players of a higher profile. This doesn't apply to mickey mouse competitions like the Europa League or League Cup, obviously.
The Glazers would be far more pleased with a league win every year than 4th place. It's why they've already handed over like a billion in transfers and wages since Ferguson retired, which we've squandered most of.

Considering the last 2 game form, and the 2018 game (utd 1 - sevilla 2), Sevilla could be considered favourite
