Yeah but without that clause deals can be done without the other party knowing what's happening in the negotiations. Deals are less easy to hijack.
Yeah but it's not in the interest of the selling club or player agent who can get better deals. Apart from buying club, completing deals in secret helps no one.

It's almost impossible to complete the deal without any club knowing it.

Anyways I have said my part, it's just the most useless clause.

First choice what? He also can’t stay fit.
He is a kid who has never played any senior games. The training regimes has probably changed a lot in recent years. Are you really judging him based on his fitness now ?

People are writing Dalot off too soon. He was signed as a kid with no senior game experience. He was thrown to the deep end in one of the toughest leagues for one of the biggest club. Did we really expect anything different ?

Give him sometime and he will be our first choice in couple of years.
He could well be, think people are under rating him and his time here has been strewn with injuries and lack of consecutive matches...............but, with Bissaka, Laird and WIlliams he is totally expendable and would bring in around £20m. Happily sell him and Mensah to invest in other areas, ideally a left back but dont see it happening

He was surely being trained before coming to us, I’m not judging him totally on his limited time, but he is clearly the most expendable out of AWB/Williams/Shaw.

Hopefully if he stays he could prove me wrong.

He seemed to have good athleticism and that's about it. Poor defensively and not good enough in the attacking third to make up for the mistakes at the other end.

This Tweet from Henderson makes it seem like he won't be going back to Sheffield United next season. I guess that was already the case with them chasing Ramsdale, but this affirms that some more.

Do Bremen have a proper goalkeeper? We can send him there next season if he’s interested

After beating relegation, Genoa are targeting Watford player Adam Masina and Torino + former Juventus player Tomas Rincon.

But I thought that personal terms were agreed?

Translation - We haven't got a fecking clue. :houllier:
I've very rarely seen deals fall through because a club fails to agree personal terms with a player after already agreeing a deal with his club. That's probably because those contracts are the first to be agreed, or at least outlined, when the buying clubs talks to the agent to see if he's even interested in the move.

Since fees with Dortmund were already discussed, I'm pretty sure Sancho's terms are not the problem.

Where the grass is greener.
You don't start talking to a club without basically agreeing personal terms or knowing the terms won't be an issue. It's baffling for them to pretend thats what's actually going on.

Always going to trust Romano over Ogden. I guarantee part of the issue will be agent fees. Why have we got two agents involved with this? Can’t Dortmund sit at the table with our representatives? Agent seem to dictate more and more which clubs are successful and it’s not right. FIFA need to sort it out.

Maybe for Ogden, agent fees are part of the player's terms while for Fabrizio they re separate. Mind you, Fabrizio s sources are probably lawyers working on the deal, close to the agents.
I assume that Fabrizio would never say something that puts agents in bad light as their "circle" are usually his sources.

Translation:
For Gabriel, [the] final [decision is] between Arsenal and Napoli. Arsenal is in pole position but Napoli are still in the chase (rough translation). The player should make his decision tonight or overnight. Lille have agreed a deal with both Arsenal and Napoli: Napoli will receive 30 million Euros!

Conclusion: Twitter is a cesspit, but journalists have to pander to the community or potentially risk losing followers.

Who wants another update on Zlatan and AC Milan? This time, it's from Romano for whatever reason, but nothing has changed, regardless.

Anyone tired of Zlatan just making PR noise? Yeah he was a magnificent player 237 years ago, but this manufactured suspense (will he sign/ won't he?) to stay relevant is kinda cringe.

So the wording of this makes it sound like thats the only issue and fee with club has been agreed, no?
Mark Ogden hasnt had much right with regards to united and transfers that ive seen for a long time so its hard to believe him over others.

The agent fee forms part of the overall fee. So in effect it holds up all parts of an agreement.

I find the whole thing a bit boring. Nobody cares about Milan apart from there fans and nobody really cares about Ibra anymore.
He was relevant when Bill Clinton was president, not anymore.

One of the best paid keepers in the world? He hasn't even played for us yet? What does our negotiating team do?
I have said it a few times, there is alot of incompetence going on at Man Utd.
We just keep giving huge contracts to players that don't deserve it.

We scraped into the CL. I doubt Woodward or the Glazers give a shit about closing the gap at the top. Top Four is enough sadly.
What are we basing this on by now? Certainly can't be our spending the past five years as we're right up there.

Think of how many keeper there are are top clubs. The keeper pool for this to be any sort of controversial stat is too shallow.

But he is highly rated in the league and we expect to him to be our long term keeper. And yeah, that "best paid keeper in the world" is just clickbait. 100k is slightly above average for keepers in the league, let alone the world.

No way that's true
