Is he normal?
Hang on, he's saying that despite having a world-famous cousin who plays football, he's unfamiliar with the basic concept design of United's kit, the kit of arguably the biggest club in the world? Seems legit.
Yeah, think he was asked to remove the post by Jadon's management probably

The point that you and @RDCR07 don't seem to grasp is that it is about the level of influence on the club. Not black and white morality.

There is a massive difference of influence between a sponsorship deal that contributes a small percentage of revenue, and being 100% owned and financed to sportswash a çountries image.

To give an even clearer sense of scale, the value of the club is £4bn, the sponsorship deal is what, probably worth £50m? A fraction.

Pregnancy is an amusing but inaccurate analogy, I'm afraid.
But the point you were making was with regards to having us owned by dirty money from a morality point of view.

If you’re taking a moral stand point, then it doesn’t make sense to do business with them and take any form of money whether it be £50m or £500m.

Dortmund very insistent on its valuation and terms from the very beginning. Sancho has clearly been trained to release statements in a double-speak mode so he either gets a better deal from Dortmund or a transfer. The press reports being leaked regarding the costs of agent fees and the overall figure of the deal points to PR exercise from the United end to save face.

I've not seen much of him as I don't follow the German League. However, I will take Redcafe's scouts words as Gospel and accept he's great and would love him to grace his presence at Old Trafford. However, with a heavy heart, I personally think the deal is very off.

I know it's a stretch but if a player was about to do a launch for you for their new boots, would you want him announcing joining United(Adidas) at the same time?

These sorts of things must be so complicated to negotiate between all parties.

Unfortunately I think we all just need to accept this is over for the summer. United won't pay the fee Dortmund have in mind for Sancho and they have made it clear he's not going anywhere this summer.

Dortmund are a club that generally stands by its word. They will know they can get the same fee next summer so why accept a lower bid from United when you haven't got a replacement in mind.

Next summer could see a number of clubs willing to do business so they could command the fee they originally set for him. Maybe even more if he has a good season.
Maybe he’ll sign another extension and next summer his value could be €170-€180 million. We are playing a stupid game.

I mean that's just a "think positive, train hard" statement.
It's a "I'll try not to get distracted by the ongoing transfer speculation" statement.

When his club and teammates are all discussing how "final" the decision is and how great it is that he's staying for another season it seems odd that he didn't follow suit.

It would have ended the speculation and made it far less distracting for him.

This is my first ever Muppet season on the caf but this is what I signed up for.
Flight tracking
The cryptic Instagram posts by the targets extended family
Body language experts chiming in.
I am loving this lads keep it up; who will prevail, the overly pessimistic veterans who've "seen it all before" and say it's off.
Or the spunky "Reddit muppitiers say it's on so it's on" lot?.

Stay tuned for more redcafe transfer forum meltdown Bonanza.

Coming up next: "Gaitain. The final piece of the puzzle?"

To be fair the only thing keeping me feeling there is a chance is Sancho not coming out right and saying I’m staying here this season

This is Fabregas all over again . We are spending so much time and effort on a player who has no interest in playing for us and clearly doesn't want to play for us .

Despite all possible sources apart from Dortmunds Twitter account saying otherwise.

We missed out on Haaland who most of us knew what a talent he was, and we are going to miss out on Sancho. That's just the Manutd way. Don't pay, you lose out.

There is still awhile till the transfer window closes, but there's an inevitable feeling that it's not going to a great one as we hoped.

I do so hope that Dortmund hold firm with their ridiculous asking price and we walk away. 100 million plus his exorbitant agents fees is just too daft to contemplate. Will we never learn post Fergie that to pay stupid money for a player is nonsensical. Just look at the times we’ve done it in recent years and which of those purchases have turned out well?
Stupid money for signings that were stupid is nonsensical.

Stupid money for the very best talent and potential is a must in order to get them. Sancho for 120m is not stupid money in my view.

We didn't miss out on Maguire and Wan-Bissaka though, top top talents.

Must be tiring purposefully posting crap like this to get a reaction out of fellow fans of your own team. Don't get it personally, strange use of time.

Can all the people who keep posting saying this is over and genuinely have no faith in this happening, please leave the thread.

Let us muppets continue to believe and push this one over the line!!

Fellow believers, got some more hotness come through this morning....I’ve managed to find out Sancho’s cousin is going to Manchester University (MU) next year. MU - this is so on!!

We missed out on Haaland because they wanted to put a buyout clause into the contract. We don’t do that.

Don't you know that reverse-jinxing is a critical part of the whole muppet-saga?

Literally everything shows the opposite. Poor kid is still holding out until we get this over the line before he verbally commits himself to Dortmund for the next season, that's after the club and everybody in it pushing him to do so.

Every source, including our own continued interest shows the player wants to play for us. I think this is one of the major factors why Ole is still pushing the board to work on this.

This! What's the point in coming in here to just shoot it down.

If your so certain it isn't happening then sod off to another thread. Half the reason why the thread gains so many pages is that half of each page is filled with these negative nothing posts.

The thread should continue until the club brief that we've pulled out of negotiations. Until then there are muppets enjoying the thread and the hope it may still happen.

Do you never tire of being wrong?

Fabregas to us at the time was a massive non Starter as we're talking a guy at his boyhood club pursued by a Moyes led team. It would have been a mad move.

A Dortmund player is never a step down to United.

It's a very straight forward fee issue.
And not surprisingly we're cautious about whopping 100m out in a time of huge financial loss.
