Fab laying his reputation on the line again
How? If Sancho moves he's the hero. If he doesn't move he never promised anything. The odds of United somehow submitting an official and at least semi-verifiable offer that gets turned down are minimal.

Every other club has already signed every player they wanted. About time to do something at our end at last

He also mentioned that Uniteds other transfer business has been on 'standby' for weeks now due to the working on Sancho which is crazy according to him (it is) when they've always known what dortmund want and could've moved on to other targets

This is not just stupid by transfer standards, it's just pure incompetence. It genuinely looks like they are trying to continuously barter with a club who have made it 100% clear he will not be sold for anything less than what they want. Why place other transfer business on hold to keep banging your head against a brick wall?

This club is an absolute shambles.

Well the new news is that we have to pay 120m straight up without installments.
Do we have that kind of funds?
It’s game over if that’s the case.

Ridiculous from Dortmund.

I really really hope that young players take note of this and don’t sign for them expecting to use it as a stepping stone in the future.

Completely goes against german media which are rallying behind Zorc and his deadline. Do you think BVB will be seen as heroes for making us pay up, after saying he's no longer for sale?

Going by Dortmund's public statements and the literally complete lack of any kind of rumors for a replacement signing I don't expect anything to happen and the only way to sell it to fans would be either by getting significantly more than their initial €120m demand or Sancho going AWOL.

But for Romano's claim to be proven wrong United would have to go through the trouble of submitting an official offer without reaching an agreement with Dortmund and I don't think that's going to happen.

If they get over €100 million in this climate then nobody in their right mind would criticise them.

Agreed. I think fab is maybe guessing at this point. Felt like the whole pod was made to get utd supporters to listen to get some cash from spotify. No other news really. Keeping sancho "news" untill the end and saying those words from fab gives us hope. Fjortoft is really a wum.

Quote me on this. Sancho will ask Dortmund that he wants to leave. That will weaken Dortmund's position. And United will get Sancho cheaper and payment will be done according to what United propose. Dortmund clearly want to sell him so they won't refuse. Unfortunately for all you Dortmund lovers, your club is a selling club. I don't believe the " we will not sell " narrative . Its nonsense, Fergie told Madrid, he could not sell them a virus..

All this talk from Dortmund reminds me of what Boxers chat before a fight. Pointless Noise.

Why on earth should this be ridiculous from Dortmund?

It sucks for us, but I would do the exact same thing, if I was in Dortmund's board.

They still have Sancho under contract for three more years and will probably even get more money for him next year.

No way I would sell him for anything less than the €120 million (no add-ons included), when I'm holding all the aces in my hand.

If anything, you should blame our board for seemingly focusing on one transfer target and then being to stingy to pay the money Dortmund has communicated all along.

I were for the Glazers, never liked Woodward, never understood what's the plan after Fergie calling it a day, but I refuse to believe we're as stupid as it sounds at the moment.

We know what Dortmund want, what on earth are we supposedly working on? Selling club memorabilia on eBay? Forcing the U18 team to go door-to-door selling cookies? Playing lotto? We should be able to foresee our finances for a few weeks, surely? If we can't afford to pay 120m euros this summer, then move the feck on!

I've said before the only thing that gives me hope this will get done is the complete lack of any other activity. I mean, we've had little to no links with anyone else.

I just can't get my head around this, the only scenarios I can see playing out are:

We sign him for £108m or

We sign no-one at all

Be interesting to see what Ole says tomorrow. Obviously expecting the usual stock answers but I hope the journos push back on the bs the club are trying to sell.
