I am very interested to see how he does, as someone who hasn't played that much football over the past 3 years, as well as under Mourinho

Dont entirely disagree but for a club Spurs position it could be be enough to edge out another team for top 4. It seems unlikely they ll have as much bad luck with their injuries this season. Getting back into the CL given the economics of today should absolutely be their no. 1 goal.

As I said in another thread, Reguilon is an absolute no brainer for Spurs. Anyone thinking otherwise must be comparing them to United or something. For a club like Spurs, getting 2 solid years from him then selling him for 30 millions or so for Madrid is a great business. If the buy back close is activated, it means he succeeded with them and gave them what they wanted. Of course for United this doesn't make sense, but for Spurs it does. A great business for them.

Son, Kane and Bale is a potentially deadly frontline assuming the latter steps ups and manages to stay relatively fit. I think he'll achieve both and Spurs will have a great season as a result.

Put your house on Spurs to win the league. It just makes sense.

I think its a really big positive for the EPL and yeah be great to see how they play with Bale on the wing again. I'm glad we didnt sign him but im also happy he's back.
Pretty much my sentiment, I certainly do not wish injury to Bale. Think he can be alright as a squad rotation player. clearly at 31 he isnt going to be playing three 90min games a week.

Not sure if serous. Sure potentially a deadly frontline but wouldn't be surprised if Bale would be injured half the time and even if he'll be fit they won't be even in a fight, let alone win the thing.

If we were not getting Sancho, and that has been the case for some time, why on earth did we not make some effort to get him in on loan. Bonkers.

I'm deadly serious.

Spurs, league champions, 2021. It's practically written in stone.

I wouldn’t even put £1 on spurs to win the league at 5000/1 odds.

Spurs made those signings. Mourinho doesn't have the power to make them. Levy has always been about managing money carefully. My guess is that's he's looking at no Champions League money, less match day revenue and trying to make the most of the current world climate by making cheaper deals that will perhaps get them back into Champions League football.

I know it's a bit sad but I admit to having a few tears in my eyes when I finally saw him in the shirt again. One of my all time favorite Spurs players and he is back. Unbelievable.
