What exactly is Havertzs strengths?
I have only seen him a handful of times but certainly the game and a half for Chelsea so far he has been anonymous.
He looks light weight, has a poor touch, looks low in confidence.
Reminds me of Joao Felix, as in I have no idea what type of player he is.

I was sure he’d take Keita off. Surprised it’s Henderson.

The thought that Thaigo could/should have been at the heart of Uniteds midfield all these years if Moyes hadn't cancelled the deal never ceases to annoy me.

Well well well, VAR works perfectly and clearly when it's in Liverpool's interests. Whereas yesterday, 2 Leeds fans were making up the rules on the spot.

I genuinely think we're as annoyed as any Chelsea fan at how you've thrown this game!

Thought you might be one of the few teams who could just stop them winning one game!
Exactly. He’s taking his frustration out on me. Chelsea for all the hype have been dreadful. Hamstrung by Lampard’s tactics.

Hard pill to swallow watching Thiago come on after yesterday’s shit show.

Chelsea miss a Fabregas-type player the most at the moment - someone who could produce brilliant long-range shots opening up the defense. They look absolutely anemic in the middle of the pitch. Kovacic has done okay, but there's no real creativity. Jorginho is hopeless - it is amazing how long he has managed to play in a top side without doing anything defensively and almost nothing attacking-wise. Mount is just an average footballer. Kante has performed well.

I think they will do okay once they get Ziyech into the squad. He can produce brilliant crosses for Werner and Giroud to attack. And Pulisic, of course - they miss his creativity! They looked fairly settled in defense up until that Christiansen blunder. Again, Alonso is a liability; he does very little defensively, is very slow, and other than an occasional cross or a set-piece, he does absolutely nothing in attack.

My impression is that this is not a bad Chelsea squad considering five first-choice players are not fit - Ziyech, Chilwell, Mendy, Pulisic, Silva. They might just have enough to finish in the top four but won't trouble the top-two at all.

I can’t believe some suggested Chelsea would be title challengers with their signings. Was never going to happen. They would literally need every new signing to be a success from day 1.

Chelsea don't look like an interesting team at all so far. It's been really dreary even before the red card.
Liverpool will carve them up now.

Predictable, they can't play out of the press with only 10 men and instead of having Abraham or Giroud to hoof it to them they're playing it to Mount and Werner against Fabinho and Van Dijk

Better for Liverpool to win, as Chelsea will be competing with us on top 4.

So surprised that even seeing last season's problem yet chelsea didn't buy a CB and spent 200+m everywhere else, except only a 36 yr old stop gap solution. Weird.
