Fist time I've seen. Fans of rival teams on the same League, really happy that their rival team keep one of its best player. Truly bizarre.

And they seems fine Bayern keep plucking their best players either on cheap or free.
Yeah noticed that too. There are more Bayern fans here gloating around than Dortmund.

And when someone calls them out they make the surprised pikachu face and act like "Bundesliga fans" and blah blah blah.

Us on the other hand were happy when they took Sane and were pursuing Odoi last year. Shows how much of a fake rivalry there is, as they keep saying "in Germany".

We got this boys!

That should do it.

I bet Woodward was sat on that bus and thought “Yeah ok, feck it I will sign Sancho” and then started punching in the number for Watzke...a number which ended in nein.

Wow there is a lot of negativity here, turning even into hostility towards German posters.

I can understand that many United fans are frustrated about the lack of positive news.

On the other hand I honestly believe that most German posters, regardless which team they support, just trying to tell you guys Sancho isn't going anywhere this summer.

Germans read German news and our tabloids aren't much different than the British. If transfer rumors are hot they report, whether true or fake. However, since mid of August no reliable German football paper wrote any story about Sancho still moving back to England. The deal was dead once the August 10 deadline had passed.

I know these aren't the news you guys are waiting and hoping for but if you had taken these posts a little bit more seriously a lot of heart breake could have been avoided. If so many German posters, even from rival teams, unisono satt that there aren't any signs about this transfer going to happen this year, then chances are pretty high they could actually be right.

Belittling the Bundesliga or insulting posters who just tell how they see it, won't make this transfer any more likely.
When the team(s) I support lose, I get pissed off and the last thing I want to hear from is a fan from a team not even involved in the contest trying to rub it in. Not signing Sancho is a loss and I am fecking pissed off and don't need to hear any BS from a fan of a team not even involved. So take your "Germans are super polite and just trying to let you know" BS somewhere else cuz they are simply trolling and kicking another's teams fans while they are down.

Still begs the question, why don’t the club shut down journo’s like Ducker and the rest who keep this alive in the press ?

I said since the beginning, it serves the club no good to let this rumble on in the press as a possibility if indeed we’ve no interest in attempting to sign the player.

The club are clearly irritated by the fans making their feelings known about our inactivity in the market, they’ve eluded to this in the media, this one is the biggest fish in the pond in that respect and the one fans will backlash over more so than others. So why not shut it down?

I bet Ed thought ‘who’s this Sancho they speak of’?

Judge politely reminds him about the player they were chasing earlier in the window.

Ed thinks “ah feck, I wondered what all these missed calls from German numbers on my phone were about!!’’

Because then the question from the fans becomes "if not Sancho, then who"?

I cannot understand why the club haven't just shut it down.
They're pretending to negotiate so they can say "we tried so hard but Dortmund wouldn't budge" in the vain attempt it will appease supporters.

Or maybe they think that we still genuinely have a shot.

Sadly all signs point to Sancho staying put.

They had perfect opportunity after the Dortmund statement months ago to say ‘ah well we tried!’

Why let it rumble on for months, through the entire window for absolutely no reason?

There is no reason to do that.

So let the fans expect Sancho?

Club has had months to shut this down and move on, clear to me that Ole has dug his heels in and is pushing Ed to sign only his primary targets.
Apologies, I was not trying to defend the move, just giving a possible explanation. If they had no intention, or cannot afford, I agree they should have shut it down right away.

So maybe they still think we have a shot. I don't know, I am not part of the United hierarchy (yet).

I didn't get involved with Maguire thread last year. Was this the mood in the final weeks of window before we bought him right at the end?

No need to apologise. I welcome suggestions because to me all this does is damage the United hierarchy’s public perception even further.

I just performed an internet search and found someone who transferred

or Domenico Berradi
Well, you made some laugh but I have no fecking idea what that means.

I just did an internet search and found that you are a friend of Diddy's... or a bird?

I don't really remember. I think there was generally more optimism that a deal could be struck. I don't think emotions were this high because Maguire isn't really as exciting as Sancho.

Sancho has completely slowed down on his social media in terms of posting things. A sign that maybe there is something going on. Perhaps a deal with Dortmund has been agreed and were now giving them a chance to find a replacement without them getting fleeced. I suppose this suits Woody as he will get his deadline day super signing. I also feel we will announce Telles on the same day. That will probably be all we do this summer.

Keep Chris Smalling/ buy Upanencano if he leaves. One can dream.

I’m not trying to keep this alive for the sake of it but as I’ve said I just cannot see an upside for the club to let Journo’s keep this rumbling on.

It makes the club look like they are taking months to conclude a deal that in reality they are supposedly not even working on!? I’m not buying that.

If I were Ed I would be furious if I wasn’t working on the Sancho deal and meanwhile journo’s were making it seem like I’m a fool taking months on it. It adds to the narrative that Ed is a fool and that United are feckless in the market.
