15m is just an average transfer fees for players that signed from Championship club like Che Adams, Ben Gibson Llyod Kelly and etc which include when we signed James from Swansea. While majority the ones transferred from PL clubs cost minimum around 20m in average for young homegrown players which I have mentioned before.

We're being played by agents. Exactly as Evra said a month ago - every agent in the world looks at United for a payday. Now, because we're not proactive and we don't plan anything, we're at the mercy of agents. Surely there's a young striker in the Championship who suits us better than Cavani with his crazy wages? Even someone from Ligue 1? There's brilliant players throughout the French and German leagues but our scouts don't do anything so we can't find them. This Cavani deal is clearly done. At least it's only a 2 year deal. Still very unhappy with it and felt we had enough cover for striker with Rashford and Greenwood. Dreading the reveal of Cavani's wage. If the Sancho deal doesn't get done after completing a deal like this then I don't even understand what the board are thinking.

We don't have cover for RW though, it is Greenwood or nothing. Mata is not good there, so Cavani can cover for Martial. He is definitely an upgrade on Ighalo. Still a desperation signing.
Going from someone who could be a superstar for a decade to Cavani + is a hell of a difference.
