Only probably gonna be here for a year anyway. I really do hope we're planning on getting someone in January or the next summer who can truly wear the #7.

Fergie can do what he wants with the shirt. Since he has gone it should have been left alone until a player of the right stature came about. Just my opinion.

Not got a problem with this on its own, as we've actually got some competition amongst the front three now which can only be a good thing. If it goes to shit, he's gone in June but if he can get anywhere close to his peak this will have been a shrewd but. Let's wait and see.

He wasn't willing to play a part time role and I'm sure we had doubts for how he would recover from the knee surgery.
We didn't think he would be the same after that knee injury. That could very well have ended his career right there, incredible how he recovered from it and is still playing two years later.
I have the feeling he is going to be a good signing. He will give up the number 7 shirt for Sancho next summer, he did it with Neymar.

At his age the time off contact football the last few months might not be such a bad thing to recharge the body and let injuries fully clear up , seemingly he has kept himself in good shape. We will see in a few weeks.
Sancho and Cavni, yes! Sancho only, yes! Cavani only, nice to have but where is the winger we need now.
