Anyone watching Norway-Serbia?

Would be a crying shame for Haaland and Odegaard to miss out on the euros.

Coaching from Duncan Ferguson and Caro Ancelotti coming to fruition. He’s sticking between the posts and he’s finishing off chances. He’s always been powerful in the air and they’ve brought other attributes out of his game.
I just love how simple he keeps things. He just stays in and around the box and is there to finish off chances. The goal in this game is fantastic because it's simple and effective. We (United) do not score anywhere near enough simple goals like that.

He’s an old school 9 really, wins longs balls, fights centre backs and scores from close range.

Players like that are a dime a dozen, he doesn't stand out. If you were looking for a player matching that DM description you'd prefer Jordan Henderson.
I think he'd look better in the role Winks is currently playing, taking it off the back 4 and playing forward. He's being asked to play a lot further up the pitch than he does for Leeds. He does seem to be hiding a bit though.

No it wouldn’t.

Would love Scotland to get to a major finals again aswell (them and Norway have similar parallel in decline since late 90s) but Norway would ultimately add a little more.

Get the feeling Scotland will lose on penalties to Israel.

I do. No it wouldn't. This team play on hoof ball ffs. I am shocked. I thought Norway is next big thing.
Interesting. Would've thought they'd be playing between the lines more with Odegaard central.

not watching the game at all, but that England starting 11 looks like it could be fighting for relegation in the EPL

I don't know how they usually play but this today is truly awful. Sorloth and Haaland up front and hoof ball. Serbia much better team.
In our group i would like Norway more though. Just put the ball on the ground and play football. Norway is lost in that style. (Again, based only on this match. Don't want to offend our Norway posters).

No players from relegation sides. Only Grealish from last season fighting near it and he is doing well.
Why would they fight for it?

Yeah it’s got clatty 0-0 with Scotland losing on penalties written all over this.

Grealish wins a free kick. England score another set piece goal.....

Great cross from Trippier in fairness.

Perfect. Probably gets locked down upon in this day and age where defenders don't defend, wingers or full backs can't cross, and strikers are there to assist inverted wingers or attacking midfielders.

That was an exquisite ball by Trippier.

okay Mid-table team at best with a back 3 of Keane – Coady - Gomez
In the midfield with a player from a newly promoted team and (overrated)Winks
Front 3 made of Aston Villa - Everton - Southampton.
Yeah, Mid-table team at best.

It looks a pretty poor side in truth.
Maybe if seeing it 5 months ago I would agree. Although many of these players have looked good recently or playing for teams doing well.
I feel the worst one now might be Gomez who has been shit this season.

Steve Clarke has somehow managed to get us playing like a shite stoke, dire stuff, I mean were hardly a team full of superstars but 60% of this team play in the premier league and we can't even get a shot on target

Equalizer for the North; Republic playing poorly (as ever ) but at 0-0 we're still in it...
