Shocking.

Expect more and more people to turn to illegal streams and then thinking "this is alright innit, I'll cancel my sky and BT and just use this now!"

I think it's scandalous. Someone thousands of miles away has better coverage of a league based in the country one lives.

Another point, if they start doing PPV, the equal rights thing should end as well.

That’s an absolutely disgraceful thing to do. Who would be stupid enough to have a sky or Bt subscription in the first place?!

Apparently premier league are behind it rather than broadcasters as they don’t like giving games away for free.

Wonder if it will be free for season ticket holders? Or rather included in a set fee.
Season ticket holders are probably even more likely to buy the sky and bt subs. Absolutely no chance it’ll be free for season ticket holders.

What i dont understand about this is all premier league games are on at different times now so all are televised i.e not like before where 5 or 6 matches running at the same time like before

Are they changing match times or what?

Imagine paying 15 quid on top of all thats already being paid to see us play football at the moment. They're having an absolute laugh. Back to old method of watching 3pms it is.

I see United are backing the #letfansin movement so it will be interesting to see what happens and how we respond. They did give us two free codes to watch games at the backend of last season but it then went quiet. I wonder if season tickets will be refunded for those that have already renewed instead.

Individual clubs should be able to stream games through their chosen platform to fans for a fee, just like game day.

Fan channel 'personalities' can do commentary.

These should be able to be viewed at the same time as any televised matches.

Fans should be able to support their club just like buying matchday tickets. This could save small clubs.

I'd watch MU on MUTV for a small fee every game with fans or ex players doing commentary. Season ticket holders getting free access.

Robbing bastards.

Feels like a rip off after having them bundled in with our current package for the past few months.

That being said I have always wanted every match available live on TV, I think this is here to stay even when the grounds open up again.

I wonder if we’ll see more strategic moves as well. Nobody is paying 15 quid for Burnley vs West Brom so put that on Sky and let people cough up for United/Liverpool/Arsenal games etc

It’s not free. I gotta pay for virgin & the sports package, now I need to pay 15 per game on top of that. For 90 mins of presumably shit football. Erm, no thanks.

I'll only be watching the games through my BT/Sky package. They are already robbing us blind, so if a United game is not on then I will just watch it delayed on MUTV.

Was Prem Plus 15 quid per game back in the day? I swear it wasn't.
Is that the season ticket thing. I remember they offered it cheap if you got it before a certain date, even at full cost it wasn't £15 a game. It was something like £40 if you bought it early. @Bojan11 correct it went up to £75 after a certain date. That is still not £15 a game. Imagine what it will be like for teams who rarely get shown.

Will be about 20 euro per game then in Ireland. No way am i doing this. If it were a fiver a game, to watch United, then yes.

Our match against Newcastle is the first to do it this way.

Ah, so this is what they were up to?

Was holding off on making concrete plans whether to do something next Saturday or Sunday and was waiting for them to confirm kick off time/tv coverage. As of a couple of days ago there were still 6 (I think) matches scheduled for 3pm on the Saturday, ours being one of them. With every game being on tv lately I was thinking there'd be a good chance it would be moved ad was wondering why no announcement had been made yet as it was getting closer and closer.

Of course I won't be paying it. I have BT ("free" with my cable package) and Amazon Prime (for the deliveries) but no Sky so would have streamed if it was on there and will be now it's on PPV.

Stopped sky & BT ages ago when they split games across multiple channels and some dont even get covered.

Streaming is irritating for the first 10 mins and then perfect; arguably even better when you find a NBC channel.

It was well worth getting the season ticket.
It was.

If I recall Prem Plus ended when Sky were accused of being anti-competition and PL rights needed more than one holder.

Today with decent streams I don't think anyone will be willing to fork out £15 extra on top of their TV bill.
