Imagine if they manage to get Bale back to even half the player he was. That will be bad for other clubs.

I'm calling it, spurs will push all the way for a title challenge.

Sigh why couldn't mourinho get us playing like this
Still only October but they've galvanised. I do think it's written in the stars they'll win the League cup this season given the way things have panned out.

Their run in before Christmas though is gruelling.

People are going a bit overboard talking about Spurs winning the league. We will be within one point of them if we can beat Chelsea.

Think people are getting carried away by the idea of Spurs winning the league. Top 4 would be a decent campaign for them.
Yeah winning the league is an exaggeration. The target would be to win Europe League and do well in the league I believe.

I think anyone can be in with a shout this year, if there was ever going to be another surprise winner it would be this year. With Son and Kane in this kind of form anything is possible. They probably won't, mind.

Jose always perform best in his second season so who knows, but I still think winning the title with this Spurs squad might be step too much for Jose. If he does, would you rate it as a higher achievement than Leicester? I personally think it would go down as one of his biggest achievement and comebacks to do it when everyone thinks he's finished as an elite manager.
Too much for Jose? No. Look at that, Jose has much better squad now than he ever had with United and 2nd spell at Chelsea.

Maybe. Liverpool is not looking the dominant force I thought they would be. It might be more in the realms of possibility than anyone thought at the start of the season, especially if they get Bale playing well.

Because we wouldn’t give him what he wanted and he has the personality of a spoilt child.

Both parties fecked up basically.

may be because we didn’t give him the players he wanted? May be our board was more concerned about short sales and the profile of the incoming players..

People get carried away easily
They’ve had 2 great games but it is a long old season
Win our game in hand and we are only a point behind

It's definitely better than our squad under him by a country mile but no way better than his team when he won the title with Chelsea last time.

With Klopp and Pep around and how competitive it is in the top half, I'd be more than happy with top 4.

I do have to laugh a little at these "maybe Mourinho still has it" comments that I'm reading online.

Yes. Kane and Son were complete dogshit until Jose arrived, hurr hurr.

Nope not enjoying this. Having to cheer on Jose's Spurs for the title to stop Liverpool? Nope don't like it.
I'm not arsed, anyone but Liverpool. I prefer it to cheering on City every week.

We did for two years. Gave him Pogba, Lindelof, Mhkitaryan, Lukaku, there was no indication that his third summer would be any better considering how dire the football was.

This is arguably the best Spurs squad in many years. Looking at all teams so far Spurs are definitely my favourites to win the league.

Come on, give credit where its due, he has turned Tottenham around.

They were 12th when he took over last season. Not only did he take them up to 6th, but he has now built on that even further and has turned them into a very dangerous team with some great depth.

If we kept Jose I’m fairly certain Pogba wouldn’t be at our club and I’d be very ok with that And I’m sure we’d be challenging for the league.
