There’s not many people that are going to have 3 Villa players. It’s also the route Magnus Carlsen has gone, so that’s good enough for me
Oh, if Villa are looking like a top-half side, there will be a lot of managers wanting three of them. They are priced as a team fighting relegation or were merely squad members at other clubs: Martinez 4.5, Mings 5.0, Konsa 4.5, Targett 4.5, Grealish 7.0, McGinn 5.5, Barkley 6.0, Watkins 6.0.

My only issue with KDB is fitness. Tried him 2 seasons ago and messed up my fantasy :( he tend to gave me the highest pts when he play but higher chance of missing games. Drove me nuts with anxiety. Bruno may be better choice considering how he very rarely ever miss games but United's upcoming fixtures is giving me doubts. His recent poor penalty miss is also not helping.

Oh well, all the best mate.
Bruno has missed 1 penalty in 4 years.

I have to WC this week:

Current team :

McCarthy
KWP --- Trent -- Coady
Bruno -- Grealish -- Foden -- Havertz
Ings --- Jimenez --- Richarlison

KWP, Havertz, Foden and Richarlison coming out for sure. Jimenez goes if he donuts again today
Brave going without Son or Kane, two of the most in form attackers, their fixtures also look good.

Yup. I seriously regret going for Nyland on my WC. He stops me form bringing in Konsa, Mings or even Barkley ( :nervous: ). Wasting a transfer on backup goalie is never fun, but I think it has to be done within a few weeks.
I had Steer but some legend here told me to not do that. Got Forster in instead. I doubt I'll triple up on Villa unless they keep going like this... then I'll have to look at Konsa, Targett or Barkley.

I only have the obvious two Villa players - Martinez and Grealish. Feels too risky to triple up.

I have only Martinez, but if there's a way to triple up without taking too many hits, I'd have done so already. I have Steer which is causing me so much problems.

Sorry, I meant that's my team now before the WC. One of Kane or Son will definitely make it in

Who do we have for VVD then?
I wouldn't personally go for another Liverpool asset. The way the games are being played at the moment I'd either just look for the most attacking defender you can grab or just go mega cheap and save the money for up top.

I know we are only 5 GW's in but I just can't catch a break in FPL. I'm 1.5m OR.

Our league leader is already 75 points ahead. Everyone who has doubled up with Son and Kane seem to be doing really well.

Edit: Kinda wish I didn't wildcard now.

Triple Wolves all starting tonight. Might get impatient with one or two of them if they don’t return.

I think this is Week 2 with Jiminez and I really hope he scores. He costs a lot of money but you have to catch him when he's high in confidence.

Thinking to change my team again.

Ryan, McCarthy

Justin, Keane, Taylor, Ampadu, Saiss

Bruno, Auba, Rodriguez, Foden, Harrison

Jimenez, Ings, DCL

Should I get rid of Auba for Kane? Would take out Jimenez to facilitate that.

Could potentially change that to:

Ryan, McCarthy

Justin, Chilwell, KWP, Targett, Taylor

Bruno, Rodriguez, Son, Foden, Barkley

Kane, Ings, DCL.

Go for it? Would leave me with 0.3m in the bank.

Hoping for an entertaining game, with no returns for quite a few players! Difficult ask!

Wildcard went well, but a bit nervous about Watkins who was barely involved yesterday. Still, away to Leicester isn't a cakewalk I suppose.

Looks good, but a few things jump out for me.

The expensive attack has left you a bit weak in defence.
If you really want to go that way I'd put one of those keepers down to a 4m filler, and use the 0.5m beefing someone else up.

You also have a difficult decision on who to leave out of the front 8 every week. Again I'd probably use a 4.5m starter like Bissouma, and beef someone else up.

Hmm. If I take out Taylor I could bring in Digne and replace Barkley with Bissouma.

Barkley looks a decent pick, but looking at your front 8, it's probably him or Foden benched each week.

Think of the possibilities if you put Ings down to Brewster, and had an extra 4m to play with :)

There's a definite argument to trim Liverpool expensive defenders out.
But surely not until after their next 2 homes.

Sheff Utd up first!

True but I prefer to go for the sure goals. Ings is guaranteed goals once he's fit.

Just have to weigh up whether going for Digne is better than sticking with Barkley.

Wolves look shocking. Could always back them to get the CS, but can't get Jimenez out soon enough

That's the beauty of Raul. Look like a carthorse all game, then bring in the 9 points somehow.

Kilman who comes for 4m currently sitting on 11 points. Looked really good going forward from the back.
Is he expected to be a regular and does he play as a CB or wingback? I chose Coady instead of Saiss at the start of the season as I know he's a guaranteed starter but has next to no attacking potential.

He's in the team till Marcal is back. He's playing left CB with Saiss playing left wing back. With Marcal back Saiss will return to the left CB spot. Not sure I'd have gone Coady over Saiss especially as Saiss is playing wing back and should have had a goal today if not for a close offside call. He's also a threat on set pieces and pretty much nailed as any other wolves Def.

Had my best ever week - though its an extremely low bar.

Clean sheet for my keeper. Goals for Maguire, Bruno, Calvert Lewin, Jimenez and Salah.

VVD got injured, added a cheaper defender and used the extra funds to upgrade a midfielder and defender who were both averaging about one point per game.

Penalised for two changes next week, but I think it could pay off long term. Jorginho feels like a bit of a risk, but he has had several games with high points so I don't mind rolling the dice.

Yeah I fecked it with Coady instead of Saiss, but it's not been worth my time rectifying it yet. I watched Wolves in their first game of the season and realised Coady doesn't even go forward for corners ffs.

81 for the gw without any Spurs assets. Pretty decent.

Wolves and Villa the only teams looking stable at the back. Glad the Leeds players all blanked. They play good football but the lack of a goal scorer in the team means not as much output as they'd hope for.
