RoJones in defence? It's been a while
Neither traveled but I'd honestly like to see Rojo over any of the other combos we can have with the list that did travel. I don't think Rojo is in the CL squad though.
    We'll either see a back 5 of AWB - Lindelof - TFM - Shaw - Telles or a back 4 of AWB - Lindelof - TFM - Shaw.
    Maguire must be injured.

Whatever the lineup is, imagine the scenes if we manage to come away with a point or 3. Neymar's antics would be priceless.
Rojo, Jones and Romero weren't registered.

Have to throw Tuanzebe in if he's travelled, back 3/5 obviously

Which CBs have travelled? Lindelof and...?

    No Maguire or Greenwood. Injury.

Cavani not fit enough for PSG but could be for Chelsea.

Bruno will captain the side in Maguire's absence.

I would forgive Ole for going with a back five and throwing in McTominay as the right sided centre half.

The Maguire injury is a big blow and Bailly is just a waste of space, in truth. I don’t think it’s the right time to throw in Tuanzebe or Mengi either.

We should go five at the back partner up McTominay, Lindelof and Shaw. At the very least, McTominay has played there very recently and will help with the transition into midfield.

Gotta play Tuanzebe if fit. As much as Matic and McT have games under the belts, they aren’t centre backs. If we have fit centrebacks in the squad then they have to play, otherwise what’s the point of them being there at all? If Axel isn’t fit then I’d even play Mengi ahead of either of them. If you’re good enough to play for Utd, then show it

Bailly is going to play. Tuanzabe is untested and inexperienced and has not played for a very long time. Bailly has been good or terrible. He may have a brilliant game. He is due for a good game.

Would be surprised if Tuanzebe was thrown into this game after such a long absence. McTominay or TFM will be the 3rd CB I expect.

Not a fan of moving McT to CB, I would like to give this chance to one of our kids.

I think Mengi is more ready than Tuanzabe (perhaps due to fitness) as he was on the bench on a few occasions this season.

Ole have played TFM at RB a few times and I think its best to play him there. Maybe switch AWB and TFM positions.
Another option is to go with McTominay or Matic at CB but that’s a long shot since Ole prefer to play them in midfield. Cant remember any of them starting in the back 4 with Ole - ever.

I would also prefer a Fernandes - Fred - VdB midfield but have a feeling Pogba Will start this.

I see this as a great opportunity for our promising kid to impress, particularly when we are crying out loud for a new CB.

No chance I’d play Timbo, and Axel hasn’t kicked a ball in a year.

I’ll be shocked and surprised if it’s not McTominau, Lindelof and Shaw.

    De Gea
    McTominay - Lindelof - Shaw
    AWB - Pogba - Matic - Telles
    Bruno
    Martial - Rashford

I’d be surprised if that’s not the side.

Against PSG mobility and pace will be key in defence so I actually think a back three without Maguire might be better for this specific game.

Will be really interesting to see how we cope with them as a barometer for progress given that was Ole's finest smash and grab victory that got him the job. Hopefully we don't just sit and try to force them to actually do some defending for a sustained period of time.

    So something like

    Dave
    AWB, Lindelof, McTommy, Shaw, Telles
    Fernandes, Fred, Pogba
    Rashford, Martial.
Need to fullbacks to really push on and Fred to work his man bit off. But a solid lineup, with lots of energy.
When did we sign Dave? Did they find him in the local pub?

Whos playing defence if Maguire and Bailly aren't playing?
    My guess:

    De Gea - Henderson
AWB - Lindelof -Tanuzebe - Shaw - Telles
    Matic

    Bruno

Presume that Pellistri & Fosu Mensah will be the two not in the matchday squad. Mind you Ighalo has offered little since lockdown so maybe Ole should stick Facundo on bench despite them playing different positions

    My lineup:

    De Gea
    Williams - Lindelof - Shaw
    AWB - Pogba - Matic - Telles
    Bruno
    Martial - Rashford

Subs: Van de Beek, Fred, James
Call it a 3-5-2... I don't think with Ole that it really matters. People complain that he relies on individual brilliance, but I think he molds his formation for the day based on the competition and the players available. Those players were selected based on their talents, or "individual brilliance." What I do think matters to him is that we control the first 65-70 minutes until he can sub in Van de Beek and Fred for Pogba and Matic to crank up the pace and pick off a win.

    PSG 2 - 3 MUFC

Edit: Williams instead of TFM makes a little more sense to me.

    A big blow with Maguire.

    DdG
    Williams AWB Lindeløf Shaw Telles
    Matic Scott
    Bruno
    Rashford Martial
Not bad in the circumstances. I think Fred should play though, maybe for McTominay.

Are we sure Mengi hasnt travelled? Odd if not.

Dont need much in the way of height against psg, just speed merchants to deal with their attackers. Need telles to wipe Neymar out in the first 15 mins to give us a chance.
