It was such a great interview from him

team leadership comes very naturally to him and you can see he also shares Ole’s mental stamina and winning mentality.

it’s abit awkward that Harry is captain, even though he is very capable in that role. And i don’t think it’s worth swapping roles right now.

Anyway Bruno doesn’t need the armband to be influential. Am sure they can work it out between them much like Keane and Schmiecal did years ago.

Deserved.

Not only is he the best player in the team but he is also the only one with true leadership abilities. I suspect he will be the captain permanently sooner rather then later.

He has the respect from his piers of both his quality on and off the pitch.

Proud of you young man! Carry on!
Bruno is a great player and can be vice-captain, but Maguire is and will remain our captain.

Reminds me of how it went down at Sporting. Nani had come back that summer and since he is one of our prodigal sons he was given the armband.

Well it was very clear to see that even though Nani had the armband it was Bruno who was the captain and leader on the pitch.

Thus when Nani left the club the armband went immediately to Bruno’s arms.

I believe the same will happen at United.
Maguire won’t be leaving United for a long while. He is our captain and I dont see that changing and neither should it.

Buzzing for him and much deserved. You can already notice his commanding presence on the pitch, whether he plays well or not. I imagine Harry stays captain, but he should be vice captain from here on out, no doubt.

There’s going to be a retrial for the Greece case, I think if he gets found guilty he probably will get his captaincy taken away.

Sure and Maguire might have to serve jail time if that goes really bad. Yes in that circumstance, something would have to change.

Even if it goes very bad he won’t have to serve any jail time. You can pay off your jail time in Greece for most cases. I think I read that he’d have to pay like £90,000

This is why I want him to play CM if we have other players like VDB needing to play CAM.
Only if VDB could give the same insane output. Goals are more important than tackles you know.

Really happy for him being named capitain, even if it's not permanent yet. He really deserves it.

Was really good on Saturday. Two great finishes, a great assist, and bar one ten minute spell where he gave the ball away every time he touched it in the second half he ticked the ball over nicely.

Was beginning to forget how good he could be. Hopefully he keeps this form going again now.

So like 3 days wage for him? He'll survive.

Some brilliant passes to put our forwards in who then went on to have brain-fart moments. It has been ages since we had such a player who could pull of pin point passes and release forwards when the team is being pressed. This man did it with such ease in the first half. He gets slight bit sloppy in the dying moments of the game because of tiredness but what a player.

My captain!

Guy absolutely stands out. Mind blowing for me how he was everywhere on the pitch. He backtracks and supports defense then goes up top and shoots. Fantastic. Captain mentality!

I want him to play CM. His long range passes are great.

We can get VDB trying to help our CF's out.

Defensively his efforts were fantastic, he was one that created a hard game for Neymar. Pressed PSG very well. Not just a #10.

Another interesting thing was how good his passes from deep were.

He's slowly getting back to his best. His best game in a while, dangerous, active, and I don't recall him losing possession.

Yeah Rashford and Martial did their best to rob him off the assist. What a wonderful player.

The good thing is he is never marked out of a game. He is always involved with the ball no matter how many are on him

Another 5 tackles today. With him winning the ball high and then Fred the next line engaging if they got past him, McTominay just needed to clean up the rest that trickled past. Worked extremely well and we dominated midfield. Kept his nerve to take the 2nd pen and score and continued to be our most dangerous chance creator

Nah, the energy and constant intelligent runs he makes are so valuable higher up, creates so much space and works the defenders, that intensity he plays with is something Pogba can not match if played in the same position and is a big part of our game. VDB is his back up who can play in a similar style and should get plenty of games.

He'll end up the most popular United player in history if he keeps this up  can't be said enough but our best signing since van Persie, he's the heart of the team.
