Say we sign one in January.
Who are you choosing?
Who are you choosing?
Which talented RWs do we currently have? Greenwood is a striker, Dan James is clearly better on the left, Mata does a job there but not really a solution for us going forward.Haaland. The very best strikers almost always start scoring in big numbers within 2 to 3 years of entering a big league. Haaland did it in year 1, and in the last 3 years he's at exactly 1 goal per game. He's going to be something special.
Sancho is brilliant too, but he plays in a position where we already have plenty of talent.
TBF Sancho at 17 joined BVB and went into the first team quickly with zero first team appearances and became a regular starter at just 18.You never know how these players grow and develop there is never a specific formula if the talent is thereWhich talented RWs do we currently have? Unless you're referring to Traore? Definitely a talent but we can't bank on an 18 year old with a handful of senior games to be our surefire solution there just yet.
Sancho plays all across the forward line. I'm not saying we shouldn't get him if we can, but we do have players there.Which talented RWs do we currently have? Greenwood is a striker, Dan James is clearly better on the left, Mata does a job there but not really a solution for us going forward.

The only correct solution.Haaland in Jan. Sancho in the Summer.
Thats true, but I don't think Dortmund expected him to be a regular for them so soon. Its possible we might see a similar quick ascension with Traore, but it would be foolish for us to bank on it.TBF Sancho at 17 joined BVB and went into the first team quickly with zero first team appearances and became a regular starter at just 18.You never know how these players grow and develop there is never a specific formula if the talent is there
can you imagine? If we can get either next summer that would be great but it’s looking like we’ve tried something different for the RW only time will tell if it’s the correct decision. Haaland is a must especially when Cavani won’t be around foreverHaaland in Jan. Sancho in the Summer.
Sancho a winger will take minutes from young striker Greenwood. Ok.Haaland by a mile. He’s better than Sancho, who will just take minutes from Greenwood, James (I still believe in his potential), Facundo and Diallo. Instead, Haaland will give Martial a boot up the ass and us the best finisher in the league. He’s a fantastic focal point who is absolutely rapid too, so we’ll have a plan B who’ll also be the main man.
No-brainer for me.
